Trees respawning in my base?

As per title. Trees are respawning in my base through foundations. Is this normal?

I hope that gets fixed. I played Pax Dei early access and after they didn't address the tree respawning issue for almost a month I refunded it

If its not a critical foundation that the tree is popping up out of id remove it cut the tree down and replace the foundation and see if it still happens , could be a one off thing as my base hasnt had its trees pop up again after putting a base on it

I came back this morning and my entire base had regrown.

It's shocking that it's still in the game. I have a giant palm tree that spawns inside my base every time I log in. It's actually right in front of my first, second and third floor doors which prevents me from entering my base! I have to jump in through a window and stand right next to the tree base on the ground floor before it auto chops itself down. There are MULTIPLE "QOL" bugs like this STILL in the game since launch which is baffling.

I doubt the NetEase devs read these forums, but I *love* base building, and I would absolutely drop some cash for the housing items, but ZERO chance I do that when I'm going to have trees grow through my beautifully designed home, so they lost my money

Found the fix the trees spawn point is still partially in an uncovered foundation cell. Try and place a foundation next to the one it’s spawning through and it will be red. Chop the tree and place an extra foundation over the ones that were red while it was spawned.

This has been an issue since day 1 and its never been attempted to get fixed by the devs because they have their priorities elsewhere ;-)

Yup, need to place your foundation so there are no trees in the way. Beaches and bald hill tops are my usual chioces.

Don't build on trees. Omg such a simple fix.

What I did was tear down the foundation where the tree grows and replace it with a ceiling tile, then built a door on the side, making it like a basement. When the tree regrows i just walk up to the trunk and it falls down.
