Using the same character, different computer?

If I log into my steam account and download the game onto a new computer, when I start the game it asks me to choose a server and everything.

If i pick the same server I was in before, will it load my same character and everything? I figure this would be the case, but im afraid to try yet without confirmation in case it messes something up. THANKS!

When you go to the server selector, does it say you have a character on that specific server?

in theory if its the same steam account then once you select your region the character should show up on your server and once you log in itll be the same

I'm having this issue and it says I have already created a character. How do I go back to this character?

When that happened to me I had to remember the name of the server I was on and just manually search for it. When I found the server, I was able to log in to it, even thought my character list said 0/10 at the top. After I logged in, it updated to 3/10.
