I agree with you 100%. If it was not supposed to be, they should have completely blocked these areas with some impassable wall.
dafür wen sperren wegen den fehler der Entwickler - einfach dumm
Agreed, getting banned for this is massive waste of everybody's time.
Dev's need to be using a solid invisible wall. Before peeps start complaining to Steam about Dev abuse or something similar
Only available "tool" to appeal takes you to their discord bot to submit a customer service ticket. No response in 8 hours. Pretty much have 0 expectations on this. I think it's helpful to let people know, because... It's so easy to do and there's no indication you are doing anything bannable.
with all the current issues and the studio being small from my understanding you prob wont get an actual ticket reply until the servers issues and crafting bug have been fixed as they all prob working on that and dont have a designated support rep they prob just get to it as each of em can. sucks but yea cant do much
did not use any clever mechanics (relog, camping, etc), just went in - looted something - died 10 seconds later. did that maybe 10 times, so about 2 minutes inside the red zone. support said it gives unfair advantage. 2 minutes of advantage for 30 days ban.
if you didn't want us to loot it or be curious - why did you make it so easily available?
btw there are tons of stuff to explore, puzzles, etc. so it's basically one of the themes)
at last beta you even had the mechanics for blocking that - called black rain, which makes boxes unlootable + when you tried to farm aluminium it gave gravel instead. they clearly failed to reintroduce that at start.
to sum up:
1. not a bug, a feature - red zone intentionally created by devs to kill anything 10 seconds later. you can run in, can see resources, can loot resources during that time.
2. available to all players without restrictions or external software
3. was the same during betas - and I saw reports about that. nothing changed
if it is so harsh right now - imagine what would happen later?
only plus side I see - that cheaters would suffer even more, but at the cost of honest players.
also, if it is that triggering for you... it is a free game. steam is a free platform... Just make another account...
Died 10 times is 2 mins. "so easily available"
Nah you are full of BS. There's tungsten and aluminium ores border of red sand where you could gather till the ore break and run back without dying. Here's the catch, gather those ores before they open up the Mitsuko's barrier will net you only gravel and only gravel. No aluminium, tungsten you will get notification saying steel pickaxe not good enough. So the question here what do you actually do? Doubt they banned you from getting gravel lol.
BS? Automated systems aren't perfect. I think what flagged me with the software is I placed a rock foundation in an stardust rig outpost next to the zone border where you can loot because apparently a lot of people and streamers didn't get banned for doing far more egregious acts like using their camp to spawn further and further into the zone after dieing repeatedly.
