Memetic specialization

Second specialization point, choose forest foe.
Before it, with steel pickaxe, i got 22 logs per hit from the big Banyan tree. After specialization, still getting 22 logs per hit and no 150% bonus on last hit. Also the doubled durability seems to not be applied.
Any thoughts/experience?

I chose the same, But honestly once you get the chainsaw it becomes obsolete anyway, I need to replace it asap

i found the issue, it applies only to pickaxes crafted after learning it.

So, this buff doesnt apply to chainsaw?

For future reference, this applies to anything that buffs any other functional items/structures. You have to recraft them for them to have the buffed effect from your specialization.
