Blue Grid Device

There's this blue grid thing that keeps appearing below my character. I don't know what it is and the game isn't telling me anything about it. I can't seem to find anything about it online either.

Does anyone know what it is?

it´s a skill that some weapons like my shotgun have. check the description of your loadout. mine says something like when switching weapons gains fortress skill for 6 seconds which gives buff to team and so on..
edit: first minutes until i realized what´s going on i was in constant panic mode because i thought someone was throwing that stuff at me
