Once Human

Once Human

The whole questing cycle is so repetitive
The games claims to be an MMO, but 90% of your time is spent with: "Go into this little town, find 1 mythical chest, 2 armory crates, kill 15-20 people and turn on that thingy that I forgot what was called on". And you really have to find them.
My friends that hate base building are putting paintings on the walls the whole day, not feeling like running around looking for that mythical crate for 231412th time. And those who are doing it are just googling their location, because it was only fun the first 50 times.
The dungeons are like 5 minutes long. Kill few mobs (not always) and then fight the boss, with the hardest mechanic being : try to hit him while shooting and not get hit meanwhile.
Can't wait for the next stage where we have to the same but in different zone

I am worried about the open world piece. I really liked the game at first but yeah, every town and rift is the same experience. The only change in difficulty will be making enemies bullet sponges with huge damage.

With the dungeons though, we're in novice servers now, I'm sure the difficulty will go way up. If anything I'm worried it'll be like Lost Ark where you need to watch a 6 hour tutorial just to understand stage 1.

yeah game is fun atm but damn it's all the same ♥♥♥♥. It's crazy how fast people are addicted to something so simple and barebones. No wonder all these lazy devs are making so much money. Combined with the upcoming seasons that nobody asked for yeah game is totally dead and forgotten before end of the year

Yeah and I'm not talking about how it easy it is. And its very very easy ATM, we did every boss, every dungeon without failing even once with not a single upgrade on our weapons except the bonus attachment (that I again forgot what its called). And we are not some ex counter-strike pros who's friends laugh at them if they miss 3 headshots out of 30 bullet mag.
I mean the repetitiveness its just too much. I understand that we need those crates to progress, but make it interesting and different.
Put some go to that building rooftop and make a stand for 5 minutes against swarm of flying enemies. Or 3-4 rooftops if you want us to explore the town.
Put some go blow these objectives tasks.
Put some save this guy and escort him from town to the outpost.
Go blow these key "things" in this town. Attack and steal something from 3-4 places in the town then go give it to someone. Then give us the same rewards. And thats just from top of my head on 10 beers.

Put some world events, and I'm not talking go fish there for the next 15 minutes.
Make them zombies go on the offensive and disable some (2-3, we don't want the whole server on the same spot) teleportation antennas and people will have to go and rescue it.
Make them attack the outpost and disable (capture?) the NPC's there if you don't defend it or until you take it back (free them). Make it random timings so people are not just waiting for them every 3 hours.
Make the dungeons long and interesting with different mechanics. Maybe the ones coming next are, I don't know.
It has so much potential, because the core gameplay is good. But don't make it feel like the next grind for anime skins.

How long you've been sitting on that information?

Settlement completion is not the same as quests. I like the quests. Settlement completion is if you want faction currency to buy stuff from the faction vendors. Story steps that involve 4 anchors just require any 4 anchors in that zone and nothing else.

I'm level 20 and in Iron River zone and I have only bothered completing 2 settlement area checklists. I spend most of my time doing the quests and building stuff.

Thats going to bite you in the ass eventually as those Mystical Chests is where you get BP's from for gear other then the whack a mole machine.

Oh my bad then, its all good. It's not that boring if you don't do it. How didn't I thought of that.
Sims fans will love this game, they can just build their houses and not do anything else that's boring (assuming they fix the snapping).

These are not quests, but achievements for completing locations. I'm not saying that the real quests are 10/10, but it is what it is...
