Battle pass not working between servers??

I've enjoyed the game so far in PvE and bought a battle pass to show my support for the game and the cosmetics were cool. Now that I've decided to try PvP servers I noticed that my previously bought pass is inactive and it tells me to buy a new one? I hope this is a glitch or a misunderstanding since it would be very inconvenient to charge a distinct fee for each server. To my understanding a battle pass is supposed to cover the whole season for the steam account no matter if I want to jump between PvE and PvP, correct me if I'm wrong.

You will buy season per character/server, it won't shared every server. Game went take your money away. Same as friend, Choice which server u went with Friend A or Friend B?

The battlepass thing is strange, I also started a pvp character and I didnt buy the pass but if I had and didnt have access to it then id be emailing support to have it transferred or refunded because thats kind of lame.
Probably not done maliciously but it sounds scummy.

It seriously doesn't transfer across everything? I didn't buy the pass, but what the hell. you shouldn't have to spend money across servers like that.

Yea thats my biggest gripe about this game so far is that everything is character bound. I paid for it it should be account wide or let me move my single character to any server when I want.

same with cosmetics does not move server to server, i just wonder how steam allow that.

Ok guys I read somewhere that they might be trying to fix it and add cross-sharing but I haven't seen any sources or official statements about it yet. Guess we have to wait until we hear from devs but I'm hopeful they're going to fix it soon. If it truly is character-bound that might be the first and last time I spend money on this game, and I might not be the only one thinking that way. So devs if you're reading this; please fix this.

It was mentioned on their discord, that this is a bug that they are currently trying to fix, once it is fixes, battle pass will transfer between servers and characters (dont know if its progress also) and they mentioned, that for those that purchased multiple battle passess they will receive a refund.

This doesn't seem to be accurate. They are refunding duplicate cosmetic purchases, not duplicate battlepass purchases.

The intention is for the *cosmetics* on the *paid* battlepass to be account-wide. The rest is not. The reasoning they provided was that they didn't think it would be fair for other players if you were able to start a new character on a new server and then instantly claim all your battlepass rewards earned from the previous server.

Also, cosmetics that you earn through events or gameplay (rather than purchase) will not be account-wide.

If you have a link to updated information that changes any of this then please provide it.

They are refunding battle pass and cosmetics in the form of Chrysalis Tokens, the change will take place on August 1st. What they are not sharing between accounts regarding the Battle Pass is only the level.

You start at level 1 every time you start at a new server and the progress starts anew so I don't see this reasoning making sense. It's fair to not include your inventory when going to another server obviously so all the blueprints you've collected etc. won't transfer, but battle pass is different since you start at lvl 1 and open new gear by levelling up slowly so I don't see why it wouldn't be fair. Everyone has the option to purchase the battle pass when they start the game but once you do it should be automatically transferred to other servers so that when you start levelling up and grinding you get to claim the rewards you paid for.
