Failed to craft, Error code: 204

sometimes an error is happening to me in a friend's house (I have all the permissions, we use his house as a base for the hive) that randomly does not allow me to craft.
it usually happens to me in the kitchen, that after crafting some recipe, randomly sometimes I get: "insufficient materials" even though I have in my inventory or in a box in the house (I must emphasize that the queue in the kitchen is empty, it is not because of error 5.), the necessary materials, after this I go to any other crafting table, and for example if I try to craft a helmet or something like that I get the following message: Failed to craft, error code: 204
any idea why this happens and how to fix it?
I'm not sure if it's a synchronization issue with the server, lag, or similar, but it's very annoying and I don't know how to fix it when it happens.

Same here 35lvl cant craft anything tier II or higher

Well, updating a little bit the information, at the moment it has not happened again, the same day I posted this, hours later there was a server fix (surely you have in the inbox of the game an email), and since then it has not happened to me again.
however i prefer to leave the thread open just in case.
as a fact, the only way to craft was to go back to my own house and do things there. to this day I can still craft in my hive house.

i think it has to do with crafting with supplies in storage. the amount available pulls from the containers but wont let you craft from them. not sure if its just because your at a buddies base and he isnt sharing storage permissions or some bug but try putting the items in your inventory to craft, thats what worked for me.

Had this issue for a few mins with my gf. I just had to disable her permissions then re-enable them

Happening to my wife right now, she's done client repair, reinstalled the game, enabled/disabled permissions, nothing works, kinda annoying.

Try disable permissions then re-enable them, that word for me.

I had this problem too, one day it was fine then it is not again. For now everything went normal again and no idea what fixed it tho, I guess it's not player end but server.

i started playing this game not to long ago and i keep getting this error message when trying to craft my first pair of rustic pants just to have instead of wearing that starter gear that was pre-equipped
