Broken build system.

Ill come back and play when i can actually build my house. connecting peices is a hair pulling nightmare and some of the build logic is simply illogical. want to do a spiral staircase, GL, want to merge 2 roof tops together, GFys, want to place a fence around your back yard, gg, after 3 or 4 links of fence, it simply refuses to clip anymore. make a compact staircase, block a perfectly viable stairway with floor tile you thought would be just fine.

Yeah, I had quite a bit of trouble building my house, but I got it done eventually.
As for building a uniform wooden barricade around it... yeah, I gave up. It just wasn't possible. Couldn't do sandbags either because as soon as there's any small dent in the ground, you can't place anything near it.
I don't think there's any point to the barricade anyway. I noticed that mobs just run right through the closed gate.

And don't get me started on wiring... trying to target that wall socket is a damn nightmare. In the end, I just connected one thing to the wall socket and then I just connected every other device to that first connected device.

One of the worst build mechanics I've had to suffer through in a long time, but hopefully it's just temporary.

i noticed the half ceiling peices dont clip in the same way the normal roof peices do. when i had to use the half angled peices, they have "shingles" but it also sits lower.

i noticed you need to be facing in the angle you want to place for it to work alot better, still janky af but help alot for some pieces

sometimes it wants the pixel perfect edge of one surface, other times i was staring at the last one i placed, its just upsetting when it refuses to rotate into the position you desire simply because it thinks it doesnt have a place to clip to so it simply doesnt show you anything.

Don't forget about "Shift+Wheel" , Not perfect but will save you some sanity.

tried for the 3rd time to rebuild and i simply am not allowed to build a complete roof, geometry tells me to ♥♥♥♥ myself. absolutely no reason why i cant place mirroring tiles, ive tried 4 different things to get it to clip right and allow a basic roof piece.

Solo quiero decir que el que penso que esta sistema de construccion, que por favor renuncie, que se dedique a otra cosa, esto no es lo suyo. Por el bien de su juego y de la industria del gaming que se vaya bien lejos.

thats the real slap in the face. that garage is utterly useless. put it on the roof, or on a second floor where you have more over head space.
the garage ONLY opens a menu, it does not spawn you vehicle, and it protrudes past a 2nd floor, so you need a tal space for it.

This is so much worse than 76 was in the beginning, but I only played for a few months and lost interest so maybe there was a point that the building in 76 was worse than this, but I doubt it

Oh yes, Just wanted to Build a Spiral Staircase with 2 Stairs left and right, but the Spiral Staircase only have one direction and cant be fliped...
