Not better Drop % but you get higher lvl deviants from harder modes more easily.
DO not forget your gloves influence deviate capture. Look at glove details and scroll all the way down.
That doesn't affect drop rate or drop level though, just whether or not you can capture them, which ends up being a moot point because 99.9% of people will be using tier V gloves before they even reach harder difficulties.

Yeah the gloves was a pointless mention on all your points u mentioned, the clown is offering information that is only relevant to the in game all chat, because people keep asking "why cant i c my friends!!!" its like...idk...read the in game tutorial. I bet...it says it. This here is an advanced topic that requires the knowledge of the most knowledged. because it doesnt even tell u where to find deviations. so to ask about drop rates...to find something like that out, takes a certain kind of dedication. the type that finds a bug that allows u to use teleport towers in your car. for the wilderness challenge. so i blocked them few posts back, cuz they were offering nothing except sarcasm.

Although i would like to ask has anyone had a bad time with the capture soup? any time i captured a deviation while it was active, it was the same level that showed. like the first time i used it found a 3/3 kitty, drank the soup, was under effect, and it was still a 3/3 in my inventory. the next dev i got from phi, was found and captured under effect, no lvl effect. so i stopped making the food.
Securement soup is just like gloves. It only effects % chance to capture deviant, does nothing to deviant level unfortunately

Which is a shame given how rare the ingredients are. What would make the soup a must have is if it had a chance to raise the level or additional affixes.

Was farming the wolf with the soup just to try if it does anything. And in 2 occasions i had a Deviant drop notification at the boss kill. There was no deviant to capture, it appeared istantly in my inventory like for the Jelly event.

Is it suppose to work like this? Or was it the soup? I never had it happend while farming the wolf without the soup buff.
Are you sure it wasn't from the boss loot chest? apparently they drop from that too although i've never had one.

Definitely could be. I had it happend 3 times for sure and i had the soup buff. Can't say if is a coincidence or actually the soup doing something. XD

out of the 50 phi silos ive done ive gotten two fire dino.
yea thats been my experience lvl 1 dinos
Don't bother to try to get them all, since you won't keep them anyway after reset.
Total time waste in my opinion.

naw pretty sure it says, increase the lvl by 1.

Are harder difficulties give better %? Or should I just farm in easy modes?
I do not think they do.

Only influence change there is is when phases change and increase resource yield. Well ... AFAIK
hard mode does indeed give higher level ones or at lest the % is higher by how much i dono

Well you do know if it ain't your first season, that you will lose 95% of them when the server resets. (when season ends)
Was just a fair warning to people that try getting all the deviants. and spending an X amount of time on it.

It increases your capture rate by one level, which increases your chance to capture deviants, not the level of the deviants.

As for season resets, i brought some deviants and my main weapon since good calibrations are hard to come by. The side effect of that though is i dont really have any need to farm things, so got bored with season 2 pretty quick once i'd gotten my blueprints.

You can bring 24 deviants total into a new season if you dont bring anything else. More practically you'd bring 10-20 deviants, maybe a pickaxe or drill if you want to speed up the first week, and leave some points for calibrations.
