Once Human

Once Human

100% more artificial difficulty for 8% more reward.
The new hard season just dials up numbers to inflate HP, damage and other stats to make it "hard". As well as double the drain rate of hydration and energy.

All this while the total reward you could POSSIBLY gain by doing everything is 8% more than in the easy variant.

The amount of tedium in comparison to the achievable rewards is very bad.

"DON'T LIKE IT DON'T PLAY IT!" Yes, i know. I won't play the hard server because of the bad designed difficulty and the almost non-existing rewards. Doesn't mean i'm not giving critique on this new system, because if we don't speak up now, later seasons may be even worse than this now.

I mostly hate the fact that I must eat and drink every 10 seconds. Its such a stupid way to make the game "harder"

Good thing there are normal difficulty servers available.

It's also 20% more starchroms, not 8%

The overall (for the whole season) starchrome difference is ~8%

Their concepts of survival are weak at best. If that is the system, then advanced foods should have a slower Hunger Decay. I bet they will or do.. I haven't looked into food/water management much yet.

It clearly states on the seasonal sign up page that it's 20%. How are you coming up with the 8% figure when hard mode servers haven't launched yet, so the only available figure is the one featured on the sign up screen which states 20%?

There are foods and drink that give slower decay rates. Eating and drinking to full also prevents natural decay for 20 minutes.

Seems the Devs are a little bit sharper than these ignorant plebs give them any credit for. Still think their 'survival' elements are weak AF..

3. Rewards:
The number of Starchroms you can obtain within a season is slightly raised (by about 8% to 9%).
①The number of Starchroms you can obtain by completing the seasonal objectives of each chapter is raised by 20%.
②The number of Starchroms you can obtain by purifying Eclipse Cortexes and Chaotic Cortexes is slightly raised (each Whisper Purification reward yields 10 more Starchroms, but the total cap remains unchanged).
*Other than that, the number of Starchroms you can obtain elsewhere remains the same as that on Normal Difficulty.

Yea this. It already is annoying. If they make it worse they don't have a clue what they're doing.

By reading their official statement. It's a 20% increase for weekly season goals, which in the end equal to a total increase of 8% over the entire season.

It clearly clearerly states that the increase for the whole season is (and I quote) "by about 8% to 9%".
Base purification is not the only way you obtain starchrome in the season.

Also wrong, its 10% in the hard season.. Dude, just stop. We get your need to jump on your white horse and protect your little game from the forces of evil, but thats not it

That's why I asked how you were coming up with that figure? Because I know everything. Makes perfect sense, especially coming from the guy that complains about eating and drinking every 10 minutes when being full and hydrated prevents your hunger and thirst from decaying for 20 minutes. It was supposed to be shortened but they reverted it to the 20 minute duration, that doesn't even include the special food and drink that further increase this duration.

You have some weird anger issues you should work through.

Thanks! Puskai could learn a lot from you about providing a correction without making it into a toxic personal attack

No, it's 10 minutes, I literally just tested it to make sure before making fun out of you.
Also on your other question about how we got that figure: actually the devs came up with that figure and they posted it in the game's discord server.. But even if they didn't it doesn't take a math professor to calculate that just because one thing out of many gives 20% more starchrome it doesn't mean the overall gain is 20%
But I guess you know more than them, after all you "know everything"

You can't literally test it since hard mode servers aren't available yet. Nice attempt though.
