It doesn't make elemental weapons any less underwhelming in the current builds, but most of that is because elements themselves kinda suck. Most weapon damage is from the bullet, with element being damage over time or AoE. It doesn't help that some bosses are immune to elemental damage, that 2/3 of the weapons don't reliably proc, that fire causes lag, and a few where you're fighting aginst the mechanics of the weapon.
Some of those things will be fixed in time. What I am saying is upgrading weapon bps isn't very exciting with just damage increases. And i don't believe weapon bps even have psi rating on them at least not clearly stated.
