Was afraid to register for a new server tonight because I have no clue when you choose the certain items/gear you can take with you.
runner up still Lost Ark though...
There are also no information about posibility of enemies with both anomaly effects.
As i see that:
If there are both effects on enemies (i suppose it could be bosses or pro dungeon runs only): - you run solo - you should use weapons with said counter effect on it (you dont need to change builds, really. You easly could use secondary fire weapons with surge build).
- play in group -just run with people with different builds.
- want to use non counter build(like shrapnel on void)? Then take cradle counter perk. But it also mean less amount of other perks for you.
You are likely getting confused because you are taking opinions from random people about what's going to happen. Just deal with it when you see it. No need to be confused for hours when it'll take less than 5 minutes of adjusting in game.
will i be able to play with them?
The shielded enemies take bonus dmg from their counters, you can still hurt them with shrapnel for example, it just takes much longer to break the shield. Yes, you can join your friends if they're on the same exact server and difficulty.
Void = Unstable Bomber & Power Surge
Balance = Burn or Frost Vortex (Speculation)
Phase = Shrapnel & Fortress Warfare
Coherence = Bounce and Fast-gunner
You'll be at a disadvantage if you don't re-roll into a build that corresponds to the damage bucket that the mob is weak to.
I assume, they did this so people can try different builds.
