Moving to Season 2

Anyone else missing the option in the season menu to move to the new season?

I can select my server from the menu, but it stops me warning I can do it from the Season Menu in game. Wanna make sure I don't lose progress so figured I would ask here.

Well that is dumb considering the game was telling us we could move once the countdown ended...which it just did.

First countdown is for if you want to move your character to an already live server that's still on Season 1. Season 2 servers go live after the next countdown.

There was no mention I ever saw of that. I saw "once the timer ends you can move to the new season" not "once this timer ends, another begins" that makes absolutely zero sense. It is literally a case of "hurry up and wait."

I just started this Weekend playing the game, can i stay in Season 1 and finish the content first?

Each new server starts from the first phase of the first season and goes through it entirely. For example, the first eu servers have already been completed, and the 180th server (or whichever was the last one opened) has only recently started.

It depends on where you are in the server life. Phase, specifically. After Phase 6 starts you can move or elect to stay on the server for 4 additional weeks until the server closes. If you just started, it's most likely a new server and you have a ways to go. Some of the Day 1 servers are now able to start Season 2 but many haven't even got to the halfway point of Season 1 yet.

TL;DR
Servers are on different life spans. It's all dependent upon the age of your server.

In game, it said that we could transition to a Season 2 server after the 'timer' was done with it's countdown. On their site, it did not. Site suggested 'immediate'. When Phase 6 started, there was a countdown timer that showed 12 hours to go for the move and that servers would unlock @ approximately 7:30PM PST. Overnight they unlock moved the server openings back by 12 hours so now it's 7:30 AM PST or a bit less than 4.5 hours (from now). In theory.

Also note, that only the first 6 PvE servers and the 1 hard PvE server were going to open day 1. The remaining 5 servers 00008 through 000012 were opening on different days.
The last time I checked a few hours ago, I think they had added two more servers to the lineup 000013 and 000014.

Thx for the awnsers. Looks like my Server is in phase 1. This means i have time and can expiriance the game and all 6 phases without Fomo right?

The game itself contains information about the seasons, I advise you to read it,
you're clearly doing something wrong

Yes you have most of the season left. The better part of 5.5 weeks before you even get to Phase 6 and then you can elect to move or even stay for ANOTHER 4 weeks.

At the end of the 4 weeks (if you stayed), the server goes away and you are moved to Eternaland. You have potentially close to 10 weeks on your server's life.

Its good and bad at the same time. Its great for new players but it also really seperates the player base as a whole and those servers start to lose people and its hard to get stuff done.
