"This structure can't be built near a stronghold"

So, I managed to get a good spot for oil and polluted water, but my territory interfering with a stronghold, which I only really realised when I tried to build my gun-towers.

So I decided to move the territory for a bit to the side and behind, but everytime I try, it says I can't build here.... so why/how was I even able to get my house over there in the first place?

If there's no mention of too close to a stronghold, u might have to clear the area of stones and trees, even small ones, and ores... then try again.

Edit: the reason u managed to get it there in the first place, did u build it there? Was it smaller initially and did u expand it once u moved? If it's now bigger, it's going to be harder to place due to the things i mentioned before, get rid of stones, trees and ores. Also if there's a big stone there that u can't remove, don't place it on there then as that will defo interfere.

It said it would interfer with vehicles, I figured out that this was the garage, which has the "vehicle" placed on it, and caused the interference.

Then it said there might be something problematic with the terrain, so I removed ores and trees accordingly.
Now the only message that keeps popping up is the stronghold.

Ok, so u do get the stronghold message, that means ur too close to said stronghold and need to move further away from it. If it keeps saying that eventho ur way far away, then u might be bugged sumhow. And then my only advice i have left would be, contact the developers or make a bug report via the game? No idea how to contact the developers directly with such a bug/request but bugreport might work/help them to solve it.

Yea, I get that I might be too close to the stronghold, but how was I able to build there in the first place, but can't move now? That's what I don't understand.

- I also already had built two towers between my house and the fence, and had only trouble to build 2 pieces of small walls because they were too close.(I already deleted the towers in the attempt to move the territory, that's why they're not on the picture.)

Worst case scenario if I send a bug-request, the bug was that I was able to place there to begin with and lose the plot entirely :O


Right now I'm trying to figure out if I can modify my building in a way, more move it in a certain way so I can place it again

Game allowed you to move your territory way too close, part of it is literally in already existing structure. Simple fix is to figure out where the "stronghold boundaries" are and move your territory in such a way that you can build your pumps in still polluted area.

I've had issues with this too, built right next to "stronghold", had my pumps at the edge of polluted area and it was still enough to farm Acid, so don't lose hope :)

it would really be great if we could see the stronghold's boundaries. I'll make a suggestion to the developers about that.

I have a similar problem...
I was able to place my territory and able to build most of my house but unable to place some single walls in the 2nd or 3rd floor due to being "to close" to a stronghold...
Problem is, there wasnt any Stronghold. There is on Oilpump, but the is another players base between me and this pump.
And a floor above and below i was able to build on that exact spot.

Later i noticed that half of my territory is labeled as being close to a stronghold,

Cant replace it in that area, other than puttin it exactly to the location it was before, while my buddy was able to snap his territory exactly at this "forbidden" side and build whatever he wants.
