Loot boxes/Gacha? Not with me…

What’s going on, dear developers? Why on earth have you implemented a Gacha system, and only for skins? Are you really that money-hungry that you had to do this? Is it so hard to just say, “Here’s an epic skin for €20-30”? Must it be hidden behind a Gacha system where many unfortunate souls will undoubtedly have to reach 110 pulls to get the Motoran skin?

Well, I’m done. I’m unfortunately susceptible to this kind of gambling, and I’ve sworn off any games with Gacha or loot boxes, as I’ve spent thousands of euros on such systems over the years, and I’m moving away from that now. I have nothing against treating myself to something in games that I can buy outright. But with this Gacha system, you’ve lost me as a player. I no longer want anything to do with it. It’s a shame because I enjoyed the game, but my battle against gambling and Gacha addiction takes priority.

sorry but did something change? to my knowledge no skins are gacha, and this game is FTP so i dont see a issue with the skin prices just dont buy them, but that is just my opinion however i do understand your decision to drop it if gacha has been put in even commend you, Gambling addiction is no joke and i wish you luck.

They added gacha lootboxes this last patch. All optional but yesh if OP has some addiction I guess thats hard.

Ehm, is this a joke ? You really go on forums of a F2P game and complain that they're trying to make money, in order to keep funding the game ? Do you also go into restaurant and complain that meals cost more money there compared to if you cook them at home ? :D If it'd be some actual P2W issue I'd understand, but this game so far does not push anyone towards purchasing anything...

Majority of F2P players in ALL games do NOT spend any money. Hence why devs try all kinds of systems to make money. The game is not really FREE to make, there's people working just like you or me, Monday till Friday, in order to create a product that others can then play.

I have wanted that skin since i was first given that bike, built the garage and noticed the skin option in there.. Reminds me of Ghost rider far to much and would love to get it, BUT YEA, be stuffed if i am spending that much just for a small chance i will get it in 1 round or 4 then i guess,5

Cosmetic is just cosmetic, nothing more, no one is forcing you to buy it, you can just ignore it, if you can't then thats your issue.

Wow why are People always so mean to some stranger? This is a Gaming Community, share some love folks, its hard for somebody who has an addiction for gambling seeing this ♥♥♥♥ comes to a Game that the person loves to play and either have to quit the Game or spend the whole wage yet again, i know many Peoples having such an addiciton, its not funny at all, and nothing to joke about, take this serious.

And Lastic, i totally agree with you, they could have been selling this Skin in the regular Shop, instead they bring this "Loot Box System" into Once Human, yes its a F2P Game, but this is no excuse for this BS, they already have a Skin Shop, there is no need of this pitty System to abuse People with an gambling addiction to earn money, this is disgusting.

Its already a controversial topic in some countries, some of them already banned it by law i think and yet People are fine with that nowdays, crazy world, what a messed up society we live in.

Even my younger Siblings are affected for this topic, they playing lots of F2P Games, and there you can find this "Loot Box System" everywhere, FIFA best example or any Mobile Game to be frankly, i guess if someone isn´t addicted or has nobody that is affected from this, why would they even care about this?

Totally understandable. Good for you for making the right decision for your wellbeing. Anyone that negatively judges you should consider they're enjoying this generous F2P model thanks to those with addictions such as yours.
