Please stop nerfing things before buffing others, and please don't nerf things in PvE because of PvP.
A tale as old as games themselves.

I understand the developers want to make a PvP focused game, but the fact is the majority of players want to play PvE, yet you've already started nerfing various builds hard in PvE, which is already a bad case when you're not even two months from release.

However it's even worse in this game for one reason - The gear acquisition system, we have limited starchrom and people will spend weeks worth of currency to get the equipment even to make a build and you just go and nerf it, making it worthless.

It's a terrible choice, people will quit, even harder if they've put effort grinding to get perfect mods for the build, being nerf heavy is a net negative for the game because it removes the fun people are having, we don't play PvE games for balance, we play them to have fun.

Also, PvE and PvP balancing should be entirely different, for example the recent maximum limit to reload speed directed towards PvP hit plenty of PvE builds hard and made them a lot worse, there should be seperate balance for PvE and PvP server.

I just wish the developers would realise that PvE is the way forward for this game, they can have PvP as a side thing but with how bad the servers are, the general balancing and design this game simply doesn't have a future as a PvP focused game. There are plenty PvP survival games out there, but the amount of PvE looter survivals of this design are very little to none.

And devs better than anyone should know that this was novice scenario, They still buffed the enemies and added even more mechanics to "pro" bosses and silos and now is on the hard side. Still can do them all alone on "pro" but its definitely harder than before and it makes me think that "pro" will be impossible in the hard scenarios that are coming.
BTW currently soloing everything except lea lab on "pro" is easier than with 2 people.

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to me, buffing the Novice scenario. Like ok buff the next difficulty ones tomorrow or whatever in the future. But the Novice ones? With all the new players? Doesn't seem very fair to me and a bit questionable because people were already saying they were struggling with clearing content and now they've gone and made it even harder for the people still struggling to clear it. I've cleared it all myself and can solo alot of it etc etc...but it doesn't seem fair to newer players or people new to the endgame. Imagine logging out a day or two ago, coming back on and boom the mobs are suddenly 2x as tanky

The whole problem comes from devs looking at PvP games like rust, with similar wipe system (monthly, weekly, bi-weekly) that keeps a big stable player base for years without adding much content. Just selling garage doors and chest skins. They want the easy way to keep players and suck their money.
Thing is it will not work here. Rust is toxic grief-fest game that requires very specific type of players that are basically all there and will not leave.
I have 3-4 friends with 15k+ hours on rust that play OH with me now and no one wants to have anything to do with the PvP in this game.
VRising (one of my all time favorite games) copied that system (for PvP servers) thinking it will have the same result and now has like 5k concurrent players. Managed to kill couple of weapons for PvE in the process. Good thing the game is such a PvE masterpiece with 57 amazing bosses
Lets hope the devs will start making the right decisions and will stop listening to every whiny player they have

Moreover, it's just a buggy mess right now. I’m leveling up a new character and yesterday at level 38 I went on a quest to kill a spider boss. I had socr lvl4 and kam lvl3. The numbers of damage to eggs from socr were higher, but I practically could not damage them, but kam killed them easily. And while leveling up I met a couple of elite soldiers, they were stupid sponges for bullets, 40 bullets from kam in the head took off a couple of millimeters of their HP XD

The problem... Equipment caps out relatively early, at least as far as anything makes sense to raise. Tier 5 weapon with one of the 3 effects that doesn't currently suck balls, your 1 piece of special armor that works with that 1 weapon, 3-4 pieces of a good set, 1 piece that is just stat bonus, calibration with the right bonuses, and then legendary mods that are upgraded 5 times. Then what? The only thing you can do to add damage or survival is food buffs or an excessive amount of farming for 0.3% rolls. The way around this would be by having different builds be attractive and encourage players to be creative with weapon and mod interactions.

This won't ever be that "impossibly hard game" that some are calling for. When you can farm resources, any way to make the game challenging will just result in making fights and activities boring since you're fighting against mechanics and damage gating, or requiring an excessive amount of resource farming. The challenge seekers will leave eventually, no matter what is done.

Yeah balancing whole PVE game around tiny minority (PVP) is a huge red flag... Might kill this game eventually.
