Controller support
Yes theres many topics about it but I dont care. You said it would be added, its not. Huge pain to make it work and it doesnt. Some of us like to not have to sit by our keyboard to play. Smaller companies made it work for their games.

I tried the actual gamepad support and it's bad. You're not allowed to remap anything and some of the mapping decisions they made are so tragically poor that you should be insulted.

They're just messing with you and if you've been around for a while you have seen it before.

This is exactly why I stopped playing.
I am fine with the wipes, the bugs and ALL the other issues, but this one, just no.

First they said "Aug 1st" then "Aug 15th" and now its "who knows".
How hard can it be to make decent native controller support in 2024 -_-

Controller support works great right now. Update the game.

Its 2024 to not have controller support for your game makes no sense, do they not realize how many more people may play if there was

Issue was on my end in the end, patch didnt install right so I had to reinstall the whole thing.

Using the in game controller has severe lag when moving the right analog, like real bad.

Chinese developers are famous as well for clowning on people that use controllers in the first place. They sell PS5 and Xbox Series Custom Keyboards that use controller api. It's borderline a cultural thing but due to many new inclusivity laws regarding media they MUST support it. Pathetic.

Not working for me (Xbox controller), tried everything so far but it just doesn´t work.

- Game updated to latest version
- Using community layout (tried with at least 5)
- Enabled all controller imputs
- Even got a new controller (4 in total, tried them all)
- Extended xbox controller support driver applied
- Re installed the game, 2 diferent drives

It worked for me as soon as the update came out, but it doesn't work for my bf. I much preferred my controller mapping when we used reWASD. I was hopeful to be able to remap the in-game controls, even willing to spend that much time on it, but after seeing that nothing is able to be remapped and after dying countless times trying to throw my car out mid-combat... needless to say I'm pissed. @Sakuralein said it best,

DONT USE ANY COMMUNITY LAYOUTS, THEY ARE OUTDATED

Just use any Xinput template!
