FIshing update

every time i fish the line just brakes when reeling it in saying the pull was too strong. i've tried easing back a bit and it still snaps.

any suggestions?

also don't need to put bait on anymore. and constantly get cant fish here msg, still lets me fish tho

That fishing is absolute trash now, I went from loving it and catching tons of fish to the line breaking and catching nothing

looks like this was updated. i now see a pull right [D] or pull left [A]. So looks like fishing uses wasd

I had problems the first couple times that I tried the new fishing too, but it's actually quite simple. You're not trying to fill the reel gauge; you keep it around 3/4th full while doing the pull left/right prompts. Enjoy your boat loads of fish!

I really like the new fishing. It's a simple system but it works. At the very least, I think it's much better than the previous system.

It was simplified. Too many babys were crying over it at their discord .

I didn't have any problems with the new fishing before I changed to new server. I caught like 30 fish in a row without losing even one. Usually took around 30% of my stamina to catch a fish.
Now when I have to hold "A" or "D" the circle (or should I say square) starts filling, but stops on its own little before it finishes, without me releasing the buttons. I tried 15 baits and didn't catch single fish to complete the "catch 1 fish task". Every time my stamina depletes and the fish have like 60% more.

@Puskai same here, reeling in keeping it at 75% tension and once the mini game starts for A/D to pull left/right it only ever goes 75% until it just ends/disappears and chunks out my stamina while I notice the fish gains stamina when it does. Haven't caught a single fish since update and looking for solutions or fixes.

my experience:
got issue with A and D not full in time cause of...
micro lag!
the solution is to low resolution and it's ok
(i do my fishing session in low res then change it for all other content)

same with me... everytime i pull... fish gain stamina again... i hope they fix it ..probaly bug for some people

I was in the same camp but gave it some time; now I kind of like it. You can reel in a little bit but watch the stamina. You really need to move the line when prompted. If using a controller note that you don't use the stick to do this; it uses the D-Pad. Once you get the hang of it, it is kind of fun and seems quicker than the old method.

i wouldnt say it was simplified, the previous system was buggy and had little to no informational feedback. fish swims this way, fish swims that way, doesnt matter, just turn the camera and hold reel in and you catch 95% of all fish. now you at least have to hit a and d.

Yeah, this is the easiest fishing system I've ever seen. Never break the line unless I want to.

Once you get the frog you have the jumping potion and also hundreds of lures so you never need to make bait.
