Most of the ingame armor and 'free' cosmetics are pretty high quality. If your wanting *screaming in your face flashing lights & colours" then yes those gaudy things are usually reserved for paid cosmetics.
This "ranch" patch was nothing more then to push these loot crates, i mean they are releasing more skins then actual content but hey we can't expect much from NetEase regardless it is a free game and it is optional.
I did enjoy the glass house and the outdoor patio set and feel like they need to add some more none cute furnishing items to get me to open my wallet to be honest. Their recent line of cosmetics have been a miss for me personally but to each their own.
Can't argue with this. The paid for loot crate system has received so much push back from players in the past, particularly in the West, I thought it had been squashed for good. I don't think it's ethically sound to promote these practices in games that are accessible to minors but then some of the burden has to be placed on the parents too.
That being said, the drop rate percentage is ridiculously low for the legendary skins. I believe companies are now forced to provide this information by law if they're charging money for them which is great. They're also FAR too expensive currently for what they contain. If they were to produce more skins, offer them for purchase in the shop but charge less, I think they would have a much better chance at generating revenue. I think the gaming community as a whole is pretty united in their disgust towards paid for loot crates as a business practice.
I agree, and I have THE worst luck ever. And the annoying part is, you have to use IRL cash for it. Bruh I rather just pay it straight up instead of gambling with my piss poor luck. No to this gacha.
I was expecting a NetEase game to "limited" fomo costume thing, but I did not expect it to be a GACHA. NetEase you've already taken so much of my money this month with all the Onmyoji limited collab skins(I would of lost my marbles if those was gacha, and every single whale in CN would as well), Not today Satan.
I would gladly support the game by buying things like in warframe, but it's too expensive and 200-500$ for a chance to get the bike skin... no thanks. I'm totaly against gambling with real money in video games.
