I grinded out 8000 starchroms on a new playthrough for that gun specifically.. I bought it five hours before they announced the narf. Now I feel like a real sucker. Are the devs getting off on messing with me?

Agreed. Devs always eff this up. Why can't PVP have different gear to PVE? The exact same issue happened with Division. Constantly balancing, nerf this buff that because PVPers were crying because Johnny downed Timmy too easily. Eventually every build was nerfed into the ground so they were all equally bad and enemies in PVE became massive bullet sponges. Nothing was viable, game grew stale then they launched Division 2 and it all started all over again.

How close can you get to the boss in Silo EX1? They also nerfed boots from this build. As far as I understand, it is no longer possible to make a chain of weakspot shots at different trash mobs. Thank you PvP whiners.

I am a die hard PvE player.
But I'm not delulu enough to think a double barrel shotgun will be useful at long range combat.

Shotgun in real life got hella range. But unless this is your first time playing video game, video game shotgun has ALWAYS BEEN intended for relative close range combat.

PS. Lucky for you the game gave you more than 1 weapon slot.
*If you stand right at the railing, EX1 boss distance seems within 5 meters.

I agree in a lot of games PvPers often does get PvE sided things indirectly nerfed.

Same here, I'm new player just started the game about 2 week. I manage to saved 14000 Starchroms and wishes for the wrong cage helmet pools. Because the two other pools are still locked for me, I used 10000 Starchroms for 20 pulls and get the renegade sets and cage helmet. I thought all armor the same only give defense stats and fancy costume look.

Only after this someone told me different armor affect weapons builds too, for myself I'm using SMG MP7 shrapnel, this renegade set I have didn't match my weapon builds. The cage helmet do help a bit but there a better one and its free (Beret).

Now I wanna cry and wished I can refund, and the most annoying thing about this wish machine is its so much lack of information. It SHOULD HAVE WARN people about every pools they wishes for, telling them this pools is merely for sniper user etc, with weakspot builds, if you do not play weakspot builds, do not enter here!

Frustrated here, too late now for me, but I still wanna ask, any renegade SMG build? I don't play sniper.

Found Timmy! What build are you using currently Timmy so I can cry to the devs it's too overpowered and get it nerfed? Sniper using the quick scope ADS cancel method? Next patch. Stun Baton quick dash glitch? Next patch. FFS

Kinda contradicting yourself here...so it has "hella range" in real life but because it's a video game it has to be close range only? Aside from the fact it has a perk called BULLS EYE which is the whole point of using it and its damage buff relies on proc, 5 metres is completely ridiculous. I mean there's nerfing something OP and then there's making it completely redundant.
