Boom Boom takes a long time on the gatling gun, just switch to Predator for the gun then switch back to Boom Boom. Also take the Shadow Hound not Pyro Dino, boss hp is paper thin but the gun takes more time to shoot.
For this boss fight, I used the Wildfire and Bingo combination, paired with the Old Huntsman boots, which allowed me to consistently deal weakspot damage. The Shadow Hound can also draw the boss's aggro. This build takes me 3 minutes and 40 seconds, and your time can be even faster with consistent execution. Also, don't forget to eat a mixed fried hot dog. My armor setup consists of three Renegade pieces, two Treacherous pieces, and the Old Huntsman boots.
Edit: It has been suggested that the Treacherous armor set's description contains a translation error. The second perk of the set should read "below 70%" rather than "above 70%." A viable alternative setup could consist of four Renegade pieces and one Bastille piece, or three Renegade pieces and two Bastille pieces, with the Old Huntsman Boots as the key gear.
Boom Boom takes a long time during the Gatling gun phase.
sure man on normal mode lol
I also recommend Primal Rage with a Critical build, but this gun build requires significant investment and effort. You'll need lunar mods with good attributes on two pieces of armor (the helmet and chest piece), and you'll constantly lose HP when firing, though you'll rarely need to reload. It's a high-risk, high-reward setup. For this setup, I used three pieces of Lonewolf gear, two pieces of Treacherous gear, and the Oasis mask. The armor and weapon mods are Shooting Blitz, Blitzkrieg, Momentum Up (Lunar), Critical Rescue (Lunar), Deadshot, Rush Hour/Covered Advance, and Critical Boost.
Really, I'm on Pro and I can solo this guy in no time with a Boom Boom and Wildfire.
You must be doing something wrong, kiddo.
It's easy to solo, it's harder to speed run it with status dmg build solely because the gatling gun is immune to status dmg. The boss itself is very weak, but the gun can be a bullet sponge because you can only do Weapon DMG on it.
I dont think you did it under 5 mins with a boom boom without dying if u did put up a video for the community.
i already got the trophy last year for killing him under 5 mins on pro without dying...and i didnt use the KVD. like Big Boom Boom said It's easy to solo, it's harder to speed run it
