Controller issue when using DirectX 12 + DLSS
Hello everyone,

I and many others have noticed that when launching the game in DirectX 12 to use DLSS, it is not possible to play with a controller. The game automatically switches control to mouse and keyboard, making controller input unusable.

Please share your experiences. It would help bring clarity to many players.

Thanks!

Me too! If I start the game with DirectX 12, it's impossible to control it with a controller. I've also heard that this seems to be a bigger issue affecting many players.

Why do peepz on PC use controller?

Just to get this aim assist and not have to learn how to aim? Kinda PEEPASAD...

Happens all the time. This game doesn't have controller support on DX12.

Hey pagozh. Basically, I totally agree with you. Personally, I'm a mouse & keyboard player. A little bit of giving up control isn’t too bad, but it would really be nice if this problem could be fixed.:steamthis:

On the subject of the controller and this game, even though I'm using Dx11 and 12, I'm also having problems with the controller

Example: If I limit the FPS with Rivatuner or AMD Adrenalin Edition applications to limit the FPS when using the controller, it creates stuttering regardless of whether I use it with a cable or the wireless adapter. This only happens to me with this game. If I use the internal game limiter, there are no problems, but the 60 or 120 fps options are not suitable for me. For this reason, I'm looking for alternatives to limit the FPS (80, 90, 100, etc.)

Very well said, Darkinferno

I'm a constant player with more than 27 years playing with a mouse, keyboard, and similar devices and I've never been interested in playing with a controller, Xbox types, and others. In my mind, I didn't visualize myself playing with a controller, in fact, I hated them. Two years ago, due to the insistence of a coworker, he convinced me to give it a chance and lent me his controller for a couple of months. days, after the adaptation process I am super in love with my controller and the advantages it has for playing and I'm not talking about the aim assist specifically (that doesn't matter to me) I mean that I am NO LONGER tied to a keyboard and mouse that must be in a certain position (forced whether you want it or not)

Since then I play shooting games, first person, third person and similar types, if it doesn't support a controller I don't play it.
