How to add friends in steam?
Guys tell me how can I add friends?

You mean ingame? You need to know your friends player name or ID. Then press enter ingame, go to friends, there you will find on the top left corner "friends". Click on it and enter in the field "search by name or ID" this. Your friend has to accept your request and voila. If you are on the same server you can play together, travel to your friends base, your their chests and workstations if they allow it and so on. If you are not on the same server you can not do anything.

Sorry, my bad, some of this was wrong. You can NOT travel to your friends base, you need to be in a hive with them for travelling. But you can use their workstations once you get to there base.

If you mean Steam and not the game, click on friends up in the top bar, and add friend but you need their info, or go to their profile and click add friend.
