Made a mistake choosing my starting zone

I'm on a Way of Winter server.

I chose Vena Fjord as my starting zone. Shortly after I realized this zone is for "experienced" players, so despite starting at Level 1 I keep dying from Level 15 buffalo and other higher leveled mobs.

So someone said the starting quests are near Onyx Tundra, so I started running over to that zone. I'm halfway there and set up a camp and my territory so I could respawn if I die and craft some items, and now the Journey quest updated to find a nearby settlement, which is all the way back near Whalebone in Vena Fjord, where I started.

Is there any way to "move" my starting location to Onyx Tundra? Or am I doomed to dying from higher level mobs until I level up?

EDIT: Made it to the Onyx zone, Someone helped me teleport to their base, which was pretty close. My quest still has me going to Vena Fjord, and hasn't reset to Onyx area. So, not I'm not sure if this is possible.

Both areas are pretty much the same, there will be some high level mobs in some location but there are plenty of low lvl ones too. Also Way of Winter is for experienced players, not for newbies. If you have issues with lvl 15 mobs sounds like you need to start in Manibus.

There is no mistake, all zone have pockets of safe space at the starting area... there are places u can set up w/o getting assaulted by anything. The real challenge is the first few hours, have to set tent asap and make food asap is the real game lol. Once I set tent and then plot base its pretty much lazy way ahead.

The only mistake I made is that, other than Manibus, all other scenarios are PvP. I just want to play the game in peace.

Although, I was just starting Way of Winter. I almost died within 10 minutes of starting. Because the enemies spawned in my starting area and almost killed me in 1 hit. I didn't think the level 2 enemies could hit that hard (maybe because of the Lunacy?).

In the end, I just ran to the nearest road and built my Camp there. I was just gathering wood and gravel, then the bus thingy just ran past me on the road. I was ignoring it since I have almost no HP left. But after a while, it stops and spawns level 25 enemies quite a distance from my Camp. But because of BGM, I know that one of them spotted me and ran here. I just ran away before noticing that the road wasn't safe.

For now, I build my base in the nearby woods, away from the road. Leveling up by gathering wood, gravel, copper, and smelting them. Until I got to level 4 and unlocked the bed to regain all my Sanity and HP back. Quite the first hour of my gameplay, but it was fun.

Yeah, Level 15 mobs wasn't really the issue, the issue was being Level 1 and swarmed by 8 Level 15 mobs out of nowhere. And this was pretty much right when I landed. I'm managing okay now that I have some weapons & ammo crafting, but it was definitely a rough start.

"Vena Fjord is for experienced players" said no one ever. All the bears and seals you need to make starting gears in WoW are in Onyx Tundra, anyone who knew WoW all start in Onyx Tundra.

You could maybe hit a few level 8 camps and get yourself a bike? Otherwise, yeah, you should definitely get over to Onyx Tundra as soon as you can.
