You will it just takes a bit. If you experience memory leaks, I STRONGLY encourage you to voice your disdain and not let up on the matter. It's been a longstanding problem, it's getting worse with each update and NetEase hasn't acknowledged it or communicated to us, what's going on or why. We're all in the dark on this issue and nobody at NetEase seems to care.
Memory leaks?

Yes, memory leaks. Sometimes it leaks into RAM and swap space even though RAM is still available. It's been going on for a long while now on both Windows and Linux. The play time before it becomes noticeable varies from system to system. The problem typically occurs in high action situations and is worse when more people are involved in the action, after teleporting a couple or few times, while driving vehicles or running the game for extended periods of time. Sometimes it can happen within five minutes after loading into the world.

Events that trigger memory leaking seem to vary so it's very difficult for us as gamers to pinpoint what exactly is causing it to occur. It's rather frustrating to say the least. It's especially frustrating when it occurs during a boss fight and frames dip to 2-5FPS. Not just a momentary FPS dip, but extended FPS drop that makes the game unplayable. The only way to fix it is to restart the game and by the time you've gotten back into the world, the boss or mobs have killed your avatar before you actually see the game world. You get roasted during the login process so there's nothing you can do to defend yourself if you appear in the world before you can actually see the game world. Then you have to use Adrenalin to get back on your feet or respawn, go back and try again.

Myself and many others have been dealing with this for a while. I haven't been playing for a few days now and probably won't continue to play until it's fixed because it's too frustrating to deal with on a constant basis. At this point, I and many others out here spend more time staring at loading screens than playing the game.

One Steam member has been tracking the days the issue has existed. As of now, we're on day 124 and the issue still hasn't been resolved.

Anyway, just wanted to give you a heads up should you experience the issue, you know what's going on. Hopefully you don't experience it. Hopefully you're one of the lucky ones that only experiences hiccups and periodic frame drops.

Thanks for this. Hopefully things dont get bad.
124 days is pretty bad without a fix.

@Zepondrax you're welcome. Sorry for the horrid word misplacement in that post. I corrected the original so it's not a mess. XD

Let me know how it works out for you. I'm curious what your experience will be like.

Didnt notice any horrid word misplacement :)

So far its an ok game? are you a player or developer of this game? Im liking it so far its like UNDAWN which I played last year. Learning my way around and crafting stuff etc and levelling up. I notice some glitches like enemies disappearing, audio sync issues, for example I whack an enemy it goes down, I dont hear the audio of the enemy dying until few seconds after I hit it, rather than the time I hit it, but that could be server congestion I dont know?

Environment is nice, bleak and dull I guess because the world has gone to hell :)

I'm just a player. It's not server congestion related. It's purely game client or server related. or both. The audio desync is due to lack of performance optimizations or messy net code most likely. I've been on servers that were empty at certain hours and it was all the same.
Nothing worse than games that were rushed or poorly optimised

Yeah. It's quite disappointing to be honest. This really was the game I was looking for to scratch an itch I hoped to scratch for years. I've been hoping for an MMORPG FPS open world game like this for many years. Sadly, it's a store wrapped around a very poorly designed and unoptimized game, with a fair share of problems. If they fix it all I'd come back to play, but I just don't have the drive to put up with all the problems anymore. After 20-30 game restarts in an evening ... yeah.

Originally i was looking forward to playing it but what happened is I had downloaded 40gb of the game and halfway there, and they updated the game to V3.0 so It wiped my download so I had to re download from the start again... in the end i did it.

The game itself though i was looking forward to it, and upon playing it had all these updates that took a while, then cut scenes, char creation etc, eventually I started playing, and to be honest its not as good as It looks on the store. Its alright but doesnt go off with a bang and keep you playing.

I will prob play now and again but not all the time due to the issues i noticed like creatures suddenly appearing in front of you, or enemies disappearing in front of you
