Weapon calibration blueprints
Would anyone be interested in getting their applied weapon calibration blueprints returned on disassembly? (As it is with any other disassembled weapon that has one.) The pool has only expanded and it almost looks like they are phasing some calibrations out. I think that'd be way more cool than an item to bypass the territory teleportation timer.

The calibrations system really has to be revamped. As it works now, getting perfect calibrations consistently is not a realistic goal and that makes one less overall progression goal since you can only use them once anyway.

Getting them back after disassembling would be a great option, but personally I’d just like to have them as a permanent unlock like the Codex system in Diablo 4, even if they lower the drop rate or something to counterbalance it ; that would also help the calibrations market values since we can currently buy them for dirt cheap as long as we don’t care for perfect rolls (and more often than not, we don’t for the reason mentioned above.)
This definitely should be a feature of the game.

I'm having a mission impossible time trying to get another calibration for the socr. Having a good gold precision double crit on my first three star socr is a bummer. I would have saved it had I known they would dry up. I save the gun in the hopes they let us retrieve them someday.

That sounds like a much better idea than the current implementation!

Especially since there are frequently new weapons and builds to make. Doesn't seem like it would stop the grind loop, or even slow it down. I personally don't grind for them, and that has been reinforced by knowing it's single use.

I genuinely think it's stupid this isn't already a thing. I see this, along with some other absent features, as a lack of respect for the player's time.

Definitely a lot of arbitrary additions that seem to exist for the time sink factor.
Ya, I wanted to suggest use something like a cypher or SOMETHING we can use to clip/strip the calibrations out of the weapon. Not just get it on break down. Has to be something we work for, otherwise that's just way to easy.

Make things to easy, people get bored fast.

That would be cool too, but I'm fine with getting it back from deconstruction. I get loads of gold calibrations but socr type isn't dropping, much less the specific one I'm looking for... which sits uselessly on a three star weapon. Silly...

Yeah... we clearly don't work for calibrations now. It isn't like they're basically 100% random and even when you find the calibration you want, it may not have the substats you need meaning you have to spend hours more to find what you want. Lol

I mean why stop there? Let's need this thing you speak of to retrieve the calibration in the first place. Surely this will make people more interested and not be boring to have to grind randomly even more.

Lol, okay, I'm done messing with you. Seriously though, I think we already do more than enough. We don't need more things to do in terms of weird currencies. More content, maybe, but not some other thing we have to grind to get just to be able to do something else.
There is a fine line between keeping gamers interested and running them off with unfruitful grinds. Having those grinds go up in smoke for some stupid equipment mod mechanic is a far push towards running your community off. It is my opinion that calibrations should be left less up to chance and you should be able to focus your efforts into a calibration you want and leave it less up to chance as to how it will turn out. Furthermore watching a calibration sit unused until you get the right level/gun or watching it go to waste because you used it on a lower level gun is quite a push. Just like moving attachments, cals and mods should be just as easy to move (and keep) once used.
