why was my character deleted?

i come back to once human after one month of hiatus. and when i return, i find my character is gone and i can't join a new server. i attached a screenshot so someone can see what the problem looks like

no, i can't enter eternaland either. the main menu won't let me join a new server or go to eternaland because it says i have no character. and the game isn't giving me the option to create a new character. i don't understand how this is possible, since i was only gone for one month

last month before i stopped playing, everything was normal. i was then able to join new servers during season resets. i completed 3 whole seasons, and got to a fourth season before i lost motivation to continue playing. and right now, i find i can't play once human at all!

can't enter eternaland to at least see my stash, because no character. can't create a new character to restart playing again. i swear it's like netease doesn't want me to play their game anymore! thank goodness i didn't spend money on buying skins if this was going to happen

Have you tried 'repair client'? If that doesn't work try verifying install files in Steam.

yes, i have tried 'repair client' multiple times. no changes. i also tried verifying integrity of install files on the steam client. no changes

i'm starting to get a little bit paranoid i might have been banned or shadowbanned. but i have not received any 'you are banned' messages. weird

When servers crashed/disconnected yesterday I had the exact same problem, including not showing up other servers. But shortly after it worked just fine. So depending on wich server u are, maybe u face the same issue.

Sometimes it can also take a few min until game recognizes ur account and it shows up after some time when u wait.

Otherweise try what Vile said or contact Support if nothing helps.

make sure you are on the same region you think you made a character, game somehow default it to south east asia

i live in southeast asia, so the region is appropriate and it's where i originally started with my first two characters. both are now deleted or gone when i checked and took screenshots

not that it matters because when i checked the other regional servers, they all come up as blank/empty and i literally cannot join any server in any region. i know this sounds dramatic, but i wish it were rather than true
