dirty water into polluted water

so i have my pumps bringing dirty water and filling up my water tanks. my water tanks fill up my purifiers. and everything goes ok, but when i log out and log back in later, all the dirty water has turned into polluted water. does anyone know whats causing this and or how to fix it. i even moved away from polluted area to try and fix it but it still does it

Polluted water put in a purifier makes impure acid, which you then put in a barrel to make regular acid.

i know that. i meant i had dirty water in there making purified water, and when i logged back in there was no dirty water and it was all polluted water. and i double checked the pumps and the tanks they were all full with dirty water, so i have no clue how the dirty water that was being purified was polluted water when i logged back on

Put dirty water in water container and manually put dirty water on purifier, it will prevent it turning to weak acid, and do the same on the polluted water to prevent it turning into purified water. This way you put a block on the game mechanic, for when u are offline and this is the only work around i found that worked for me.

Weird, I had the opposite happen, where logging out has the pump giving dirty water instead of polluted water. Though I could swear they already had fixed this bug once before, and yet it came back again.

So I've noticed that my water will switch when i'm offline for a while in my purifiers.

I've been having the same thing happen in the latest version of the game. If I log out for a little while, all my dirty water will move into the container that I have all my polluted water in, and the polluted water will switch to the dirty water container. These two containers are not connected to each other in ANY way by pipes or anything else, and it will *only* happen when I am logged off.
