Time to dismantle your computer and burn it down same with your mobile phone. Majority of stuff you are using is made in China if that's what you are so worried about because Tencent has nothing to do with this game, Netease game, not Tencent. Man why do I bother reading forums nowadays it's a bunch of trash posts like these, they have nothing better to do in life.

In response to the latest announcement Tencent, which owns the messaging app WeChat, said its inclusion on the list was "clearly a mistake."

"We are not a military company or supplier. Unlike sanctions or export controls, this listing has no impact on our business," a spokesperson for the company told the BBC.

There is no good guy nor bad guy...

China Killed more than 50 million of their own citizen in less than ten year, forced their own into what was basicaly slavery with their "Great Leap Forward".
People had to resort to canibalism.

Today Mao is considered a national hero in China despit him being the worst tyran to have ever existed and all those who talk negatively of him are send into re-education camp.

As for the OP -- yeah, learn the difference between Tencent and Netease. Tencent is an official propaganda arm of the CCP with over 60% of its' executive workforce being occupied by card-carrying CCP members.

All highter up from major company in China are forced to register as member of the party. It dont mean that they are only doing things for the governement.

Mihoyo also became a member when their company blow up during the early year of Honkai Impact 3, yet it's not a propaganda machine.

All these company are forced to follow some rule, it's exactly the same as the USA that openly used Facebook, Twitter and many other company for political propaganda.

Tencent is just a massive company who's aim is to make a the most money they can. They have share in a huge number of company with totaly different way of doing things. Acting as if their only doing was political propaganda is a nonsense. Many of the game they own are infested with the western progressist propaganda, and other are only doing things to make China look like the best country ever.

Unless the United States actually blocks the company from doing business in the country, the statement is utterly meaningless. Did you ever investigate who was investing and funding the Embracer group? Did it bother you that they only folded when specific middle-eastern rich kids suddenly died? Do you care how many companies might be funneling money into multiple wars and have been doing so since you could buy Dyes in Redmoon Online?

I've been asking the government to look into online purchases and what non-USA companies are doing with USA dollars since Maplestory hit the united states and businesses and the government at large really didnt care. People will continue not to care whatsoever until you can provide a FACTUAL paper trail to say "Yes this developer or MMO company was a shady front for this military, here is the proof."

Otherwise literally no one will care.
