We talking about Type 1 and Type 2 when you make a new char. Type 1 = Male. Type 2 = Female. Not body type like skinny or fat.

This is not the first or only game to use this method. It doesn't have anything to do with western politics or the developers being "woke". I'm sorry, which congressman was just put on blast in an ethics report for soliciting underage girls? Which president said they'd hook up with their own daughter?

More importantly, what does any of THAT have to do with THIS game? In which scenario did you see a grown man throw on a wig and walk into a little girl's bathroom? I haven't played all the way through Way of Winter, but if that's a thing that can happen, I might skip it again.

What DOES happen with exhausting regularity is you smooth brains consistently finding the need to ooze into the forums to complain about a game being "woke" instead of embracing the philosophy of "don't start nothing, won't be nothing".

In this very specific case, I am type 1, since that's very obviously male once you select it. Doesn't matter if they call it male, man, type 1, elmo, python slinger, Fritz, The Color Green or Breaker of Worlds. If I clicked it and it WASN'T the once I wanted, I'd hit the ol' back button and pick the other one.

The last game I saw it in was a small little indie game that you probably haven't heard of. It didn't get a lot of traction. Speldon Sling? Kelden Bling? Whatever it was, you got Type A and Type B. Pretty sure it wasn't from a western studio, though.

Starry Studio developers are Chinese. Since Starry made Once Human, that means that the Once Human devs are Chinese. The Starry devs are not different from the Once Human devs.

Let me get this straight... You are given two options. One is very obviously representative of a biological male and one is very obviously representative of a biological female. There are zero other contributing factors, just that they have all of the externally facing indicators that they are exactly what they appear to be.
