If numbers are so important for you, why are you playing an Early Access game with 211 concurrent players that barely got any update since release more than 2 years ago?

You're a clown with 0 clown farming skill... useless xD
Me sitting here thinking... So what games are not repetitive? You level, then endgame. Endgame is purely repetition in getting better items. I mean, you can level another. But again... more repetition. Most games with events, same events. Repetition. The game is literally still a baby compared to most out there now, that are free and decent at least.

Permanent servers or not... same thing.
Sit and twiddle your thumbs more now, ya? Get bored faster?

I just think people, young people? Do not understand all games are repetitive. No matter how you see it. Grind, grind grind away for "better stuff". Add new stuff. Guess what? That eventually gets repetitive too!

I totally agree. All games with levels get repetitive at some point until new content is released. That is the real issue here... lack of content in my opinion.

I totally agree with the fact that all games are repetitive but to me it's the fact that I do not have control about when to repeat the content.
for example, in any other mmo, if I want to repeat the content I start a new character and I might try something new.
In an FPS, I'll try to play differently to spice things up.
In Once Human, the wipe are just forced on the player for new content and the grind is just constant.

If permanent servers would get bug fix and the new content, I would have no issue with it and I would be looking forward to the 13th. but this offer is just blend and tasteless.

Permanent servers will be getting bug fixes and Visional Wheel content updates. So you have no issue with it because they are giving EXACTLY what you asked for.

In reality, it's never enough, because what you actually want them to do is change their entire game design so it becomes a standardized MMO like New World. That's not going to happen.

So you mean:
- the asterism system (casual were whining)
- the permanents servers (casual still whining)
Should I keep at it...
Only thing still being great about this game... Graphism... Insane dlss2

But devs, why do you kneel and surrender your game to all those casu, they will come, on your perm servs, and still will find something to whine about and leave...
So the milk cow has given what she could. That's all?
I like the server resets because if I started @ lvl 50 with max gear i would get bored, but maybe that's just me. The game has issues for sure, glitches/bugs/memory leaks. However I still enjoy it.
I always join the newest senario that comes out. just mix things up. First on lunar, first on wow and now i'm on the mixed wow/lunar server. I will also jump on the new shadow one coming out. I just wish they would use some of the $ made from players went towards better server stability and bug issues. Instead it seems to go to making videos advertising the newest loot crates.
That is having the horse before the buggy IMO. Make the game more playable and fun, then people will want to invest more into the game. Other wise it will die like kamalas campain.

it's been going down since launch. not a single month in the positive.

No one is interested in a permanent server where no new content or bug fix will get implemented. It will fail.

There is no logic in doing it that way.
It wasn't wasnt going down since launch. The game actually hit 20k before, and rose again to 100k when they released WoW. The writing is clearly on the wall. New scenario is what bring players back, not whatever this permanent server thing is.

It's been half a year since they released WoW. While devs wasting time trying to please the most miniscule portion of the playerbase, people are done waiting and obviously are going to leave the game. It's sad that the damage has already been done because the short-sighted people who came from dying MMO genre insisting this game to conform to their trialed and failed MMO formula. And now their wish has come true... at the cost of the game and the rest of the playerbase.

The only blessing from this permanent servers update is that we can finally put the whole ♥♥♥♥ show to rest so devs can focus on the actual updates that really matter.

Raytard? Didn't we agree you should really keep your mouth shut?

Look at stats before posting bs ffs....

WoW did bring some back, but noever back to 100K... as well as loosing 10k per month was almost a constant... Just difficult to do when you"r reaching 20.25k on peak...

So please... Just do yourself, and us also, a favor... Stop posting !

Thans in advance, useless piece of Raytard!

You say that it wasn't going down since launch but all I can see from charts/stats I can find online is that within the first week, they got their peek viewership and concurrent players and it is downhill ever since.

Peak players happened 5 days after launch and peak viewership happened the day after launch.
I know these are only steam and twitch numbers but they are a pretty good representation of the interest people have about the game.

as for the people coming from dying mmo, I dont know where you got that from. I don't care or play other mmo, really. I want to play a game that respect the time I invest in it and doesn't delete everything I did just because of an arbitrary timer.

Now you might want to bring the fact that you can transfer things from one season to another but is it really good?
I don't think so because the things I would like to transfer is my equipment.
Yes I can transfer it but it is useless to me when I reach the level to use them.

Here is my personal experience.
After the first season ended, I tried to play the next one and realised that the only thing that was worth a transfer was my guns. Then I realised that I'll need to get back to lvl 50 to be able to use it and if I am level 50, I already have my weapon so why transfer my old one.

I don't want this to be a standardised mmo. I just don't want wipes without being penalised for not playing the season. I understand the seasonal aspect of games and that content from the seasons will reach to normal servers only after the season ends. POE and such games are a good example of that.

About the content and bug fixes, maybe I have read things too fast.
In my defence, It was a Monday morning and I was at work.
Here is a copy paste from their post.
My comments are in bold.

4. Visional Wheel updates for Non-Shutdown Servers:

Non-Shutdown Servers will be kept in their original state. Updates and changes that can only be applied to new servers will not affect Non-Shutdown Servers. These changes include:

i. Major scenario changes, such as new regions, modifications to existing regions, or the addition/removal of Public Crisis Events.
ii. New Memetics and changes to Memetic Specializations.
iii. Changes to season goals, seasonal challenges.
iv. Map changes.
v. New game modes based on seasonal phases.

Maybe the wording could be better here but to my understanding it seems like those things will never reach perm servers. Am I misunderstanding it?
Do they mean that it won't reach the server until the end of the season? idk

New content not exclusive to new servers will be applied to Non-Shutdown Servers, including:
i. Construction optimizations, including new building materials and components.
ii. Changes, optimizations, and additions to the ranching and farming systems.
iii. Weapon balance adjustments.
iv. New cosmetics and events.
v. Bug fixes and optimizations.

In future updates, we will specifically indicate whether or not new content will be applied to Non-Shutdown Servers.

Here it clearly state that bug fixes WILL reach the perm servers.
I don't know what led me to believe it would not reach it but I was clearly wrong about this.

Thanks Hefutoxin for correcting me. It made me re-read the post and realise my mistake.
But don't pretend to know what I want. You simply don't.

I don’t understand why someone would keep playing this game over and over. It feels like you’re doing the same thing repeatedly with nothing new or innovative to keep it interesting. The first couple of runs were decent, but after that, it gets stale. I get that some games are repetitive by nature, but this one takes it to another level. What’s the payoff? What’s the concept here, and who is it even for? I’m genuinely curious, what do people enjoy about it?

The menu navigation is a mess and hard to use, which doesn’t help. It feels like the game focuses more on shopping and spending money to get cool looks or items rather than actual gameplay. Even when you loot stuff, it’s frustrating because you can’t repair or use a lot of it. I just don’t see what’s appealing here. To me, it feels poorly designed, and I don’t see a promising future for Once Human. What am I missing?
Have you ever played an MMO? because you're describing MMO's.
Um, I don't see a lot of news. Don't see no (score)boards either. Cause I'm either playing. Or not playing. I've got hundreds... if not thousands of games I play. Then not play. Then play again (we could could ad finitum here). Numbers don't mean much. Good game, hopefully 1.0 complete someday, dlc an awesome icing on a tasty cake. The game, atm, worth a play, worth replay. We'd hope it goes further... considering its model, but eh.... Go watch Zelda speedruns. Numbers mean nothing, fun does.

For a lot of games you are right but numbers matter when it is a live service game.
When there is not enough players, games get shut down and then no one can play it anymore.
There are many games I played in the past that I cannot play anymore because of that.
I hope it doesn't reach that point and it gets better but only time will tell.
Did we fall below the great game called banana? I'm guessing it wont glitch out when you click the banana:steammocking:
End of the day, game is free, play, don't play. It's here when you want to. I've come back been away for months.
GIVE ME YOUR WIFE'S NUMBER THEN YOU CAN GTFO
