I don’t understand why someone would keep playing this game over and over. It feels like you’re doing the same thing repeatedly with nothing new or innovative to keep it interesting. The first couple of runs were decent, but after that, it gets stale. I get that some games are repetitive by nature, but this one takes it to another level. What’s the payoff? What’s the concept here, and who is it even for? I’m genuinely curious, what do people enjoy about it?

The menu navigation is a mess and hard to use, which doesn’t help. It feels like the game focuses more on shopping and spending money to get cool looks or items rather than actual gameplay. Even when you loot stuff, it’s frustrating because you can’t repair or use a lot of it. I just don’t see what’s appealing here. To me, it feels poorly designed, and I don’t see a promising future for Once Human. What am I missing?

There are lots of issues with this game but I hate having to re-level with a passion...I'm fine with material wipes but I don't want to grind to 50 over and over and over and over and over so I stopped logging in.

trying to defend something by spitting some arbitrary, unverifiable opinion to combat a stated fact has to be an illness. its easy to say that when you know they dont give out recent numbers of players from their launcher.

go check twitch and youtube numbers and compare from just a few months ago to now, they are down tremendously, and no most people dont play on their scam asia launcher.

hell go check google trends to see the relevancy of Once Human google searches since launch. this is what a factual, objective argument looks like for future reference.

never said I didn't like it.
My wife and I enjoyed it a lot actually.
For 6 weeks and then the wipe killed it.

The be honest, I just needed to vent.
I did really enjoy it and my wife came to me this morning saying they were making permanent servers. She just glanced at the post.

I read the official post about it and it is just stupid what they are offering.
- No patch, bug fix.
- No new content.
- If you play on a permanent server, friends joining the game cannot join your server.
and this is just from the top of my head.
- oh but micro transactions will be there tho...

That game has enormous potential and is ruined by a mechanics no one asked for.
The community was very loud about it and this is all they have to offer.

The Dev announcement about perm servers said it wouldn't work like that, anyway.
Just as I predicted, the perm servers will eventually run out of things for players to do and they'll have to exit and wipe themselves.
I guess if you're really, really slow then it will be better for you, since you're not time gated by the end of the season coming faster than you can play.
Still, the fact that they'll have to wipe to experience new content makes me LOL since they said I was wrong and yet here I am, utterly and completely vindicated.
People like OP are just on that Haterade because the game doesn't function exactly the way they think it should, so they hope for the downfall of the game.
I remember when the same sort of people were screaming about wipes on release last July. They said the game wouldn't last six months.
We're coming up on a year and it's still going.

yep and throne is a terrible game, havent played more than an hour since first month of release, with mmos it takes a while to see all the bad game design choices because they are hidden in the end game. IE lost ark
