It could also just be the game, I've had problems with blueprints from territories that I built into/around the landscape not fitting again as well, one I built halfway inside a cave and one down a steep cliff. Not sure what to do there except start over, it seems to be because it lets you clip into certain types of landscape while you're building but not if you're placing the territory blueprint and vice versa.
Surely there has to be SOMEWHERE it'll fit if you adjust the height enough? Turn off grid snapping and glide your camera along the ground in freecam while placing it, that sometimes helps to find a spot where it'll fit.
No option to demolish. No building controls seem to work except to place down my packed territory / adjust it's height or position to do so. And since it doesn't work anywhere, for whatever reasons (even in the same place, in another world) I basically just... can't.
Usually, when your territory gets packed, there is usually an option to demolish.

Wrong. That is an altered image. There is no "R" button prompt or any option to demolish your base while in territory movement. This is a fake. Amazing that the CCP would go to such pathetic lengths to mislead people, truly sinister.
THIS is what it looks like when you try to plop your territory down:

As you can see, there is no option to demolish what you have built, nor has there ever been since the launch of the game.

Here is the thread for it, though. You have that option when your base gets packed after a world merge or due to inactivity for a certain period of time.
