Restart issue after update

I updated the game in steam and there was another internal update, after that was done it said to CONFIRM to restart for the update to be applied but after restart it said the same to CONFIRM for applying update. I tried repair client and verified steam integrity files but it just stuck in that CONFIRM then restarts again and again, anyone else having this issue.

Delete the Patch and reinstall it
Steam-> Right Click on Once Human-> Properties-> Installed Files-> Browse-> In Search Bar type "Patch"-> Delete the Files-> Restart Game and patch again

It happened to me as well, but the recommended workaround didn’t help. I even tried reinstalling — no luck there either. Dead in the water, I’m afraid…

this worked for me
Exit the game,
Delete everything from Steam\steamapps\common\Once Human\Documents
run the game, will ask for restart and it will finally restart into the game

try this it fixed my problem

uninstall and put the game on your local drive thats what i did
