Reply Here | White Screen and/or Crash
Starting up Once human leads me to the Netease Logo, White Screen, and game Crash. If anyone else is having these types of issues reply here with anything to try and gather attention. If anyone has a reliable way of contacting customer support please comment as I have not found it within 5 minutes of looking.
And I've tried almost every solution I could find, and my game can run Monster Hunter Wilds it can run Once Human, This started happening after the 1.4.4 bug fix.
I love the game and simply want to play it with my friends.

I think I may be having a similar issue. Since yesterday I have not been able to log in to my server or even Eternaland. The game will start to load the level or whatever but then just CTD's after a few seconds.

Once Human ran just fine up till yesterday, so I dunno what the heck.

My game also had no issues running until suddenly it started having this same startup crash.

It seems this is an issue for some people since that recent bug fix.... at least I've seen multiple posts/comments about it.

I haven't experienced anything like this myself though. Tbh I've been impressed, I play this game a lot and leave it running for a long time without a restart sometimes, and it hasn't crashed on me since the early days (it used to crash on me a lot back then).

Y'all should probably start including more information about your specs, OS, in-game graphics settings/resolution, any hardware graphics settings you might be using, any overclocks, .... etc.

That would at least help you guys pick out if any pattern emerges from the information y'all share on those things I just listed. Maybe it's everyone with an AMD card, maybe it's everyone trying to run DX11 with FSR 90% resolution scaling and medium shadows, maybe it's everyone with less than 8gb of vram.

No way to know without more information.
Mine started showing transparent structures for the buildings. Everything else loads fine

Props for all of the troubleshooting steps taken. Very thorough.

Hopefully they come out with a fix sooner than later... but in the meantime hopefully more people post spec info like yours and maybe y'all will figure out if there's something in common with these crashes.

Good luck.

**oh, just remembered something. Just a shot in the dark but maybe try limiting shader cache size to 10gb?

Hey, try enabling HAGS if you don't have it on.

Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Advanced Graphics Settings > Enable Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling

I didn't bother going to the discord for this exact reason, The only thing I can say is that GPU usage does reach 100% in my resources tab when it reaches the white screen crash, does this have anything to do with it? Maybe. Will continue to reach out to anyone who posts to keep this discussion going until I have officially logged into and played the game once more without issue.

FIXED

100% GPU Usage on launch was in fact telling towards the crash.

SOLUTION

By upgrading to NVIDIA App and navigating to the Once Human App I noticed it showed current in-game settings, These in-game settings were cranked to the absolute maximum likely reset from the recent 1.4.4 Bugfix, By modifying it to a high performance standard I was able to successfully login with no issues.

NVIDIA APP > Graphics > Once Human > Graphics Slider > Slide to max performance > Once in game fix graphics to your liking.

There are likely other ways to do this other than using NVIDIA App if anyone has other answers please post them here.

SAME! Since the update, I can't get the game to work. Is anyone still have any issue?
I got around the problem by downloading the Nvidia app and launching the game once through the Nvidia app, the game was able to successfully launch through the Nvidia app and after launching once through the app, fixed launching through steam and it seems to have fixed the problem
