The Devs have learned the route of enticing players to gamble with this event. You literally need to spend near $1k to even have a chance of getting the vehicle skin. $200 in I have nothing to really show for it. All I get in return now is dupes of the same thing over and over again.

That's RNG loot boxes for you, the actual 'drop' chances are alot lower than you might think and that's standard practice no matter the game, it's not just NetEase that does this and it's been a problem with the gaming industry for a while now.

If you're willing to spend that much, why don't you mitigate it by buying the tokens directly with your game currency, then purchasing the vehicle? I'm assuming that still probably costs a few hundred bucks... considering I think the vehicles cost 10 of them (could be mistaken)... but there's literally a way to avoid spending $1k if you're willing to drop a few hundo just to feel out the odds lmao.

I'm in no way defending gacha lootboxes, btw. Simply saying... I can't believe anyone would gamble their way to the prizes when there's a way to buy them without doing that. Are the items still overpriced? Yeah, I'd grant you that, for sure.

I wouldn't necessarily mind them having expensive stuff as long as there was also a LOT of good affordable stuff to buy too, priced at some threshold most people feel good about. Like even having a lot more basic outfit pieces and vehicle paintjobs (colorable too) for cheap prices would be appreciated by a lot of people, and make them more money.
