Building a Warmer Base, Way of Winter
Is it possible retain more heat with a base built of stone or does it matter at all?.
I have two coal stoves running and one electric, in my wood base but still i get alerts that my character is getting cold.

It doesn't matter what materials are used for building. Use reindeer hide or bear hide for your top and bottom gear pieces, and you will have no problem with being cold at your base.
You can also farm feathers at wishland from flamingos to gain a big boost to cold resistance from using them to craft your top and bottom pieces.
also sealskin around some of the coastlines. sealskin makes the "soaked" status beneficial in the cold, i like to pair it with velvet for the major cold situations
Stoves will only Work at an certain distance you can see that how far they reach wenn you place them if you cover your entire base with them regardless what you use to build it will be Warm into your home. Then the fastes version as other write go to Wishland and farm 20 Minutes Flamingos and even bears as they are close to each others and make your Armor Cold ress

Nope, such common sense doesn't work there, in early stages you get cold resistance from gears, food buff(roasted spikemato ...), primary heater, or get help from players who have advanced resistance memetics (all-weathers stew, chaosiam lantern, lunar furs armor...).

When your body is "cold", eat anti-cold foods, stay near the stove for a while until the cold indicator is gone.

Hold TAB> Survival Manual, to see details about weather indicator.

Alright, oh well. I had a little hope that building material would matter, but i see that i have to go on as before.
