Major sanity loss during night time!

Hi all anyone else getting insane sanity loss during the evening/night time in game? Step out of territory range and drops to zero within 30 seconds. Any known bug or fix for this? Cheers

its the lunar event. your eyes glow red, if you die it will go away

WHY when as soon as I pop sanity pill and activator, I go out and mind my own business in clear daytime with no blood moon and the game decides to drop my sanity back down to 1 then release it just as quick, wasting the pots?
