Once Human

Once Human

Game Crashing on Startup
I am currently unable to play Once Human. I press play on Steam and the logo shows up, then I get a flash on the screen like the game is starting up in full screen but then crashes and I can see on steam after a few seconds that the game is no longer playing.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying file integrity, using an uninstaller to remove junk files and running a file integrity again, and changing my Nvidia settings and steam overlay settings in case these were the issues. Nothing has worked so far and I am running out of ideas. Does anyone have any advice?

PC Specs:

Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2
Processor: Intel i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz
Ram: 64.0 GB

Last installed content for Once Human was March 25th, 2025

Happens to me also, every now an then as soon as i press play, BSOD lol....
I have checked out various posts and tried their solutions as well like disabling nvidia and steam overlay, minimizing background apps, deleting certain document folders and verifying file integrity. My problem looks like it is the same with the White Screen issue I am seeing in various posts. I have yet to find a solution that works.

I've tried this, doesn't work for me. I am going to try uninstalling and then manually deleting the entire once human folder and then reinstalling.
I was able to get it working again after uninstalling and completely deleting the Once Human folder from steam/common. After installing, the game ran but had to do the shaders and patches that are required on first startup.
Update: after doing everything I said and repairing the files, I'm happy to say it worked all night last night.
