Hypothermia / Heatstroke debuff will keep going till you die, unless you eat the right food to clear it. By just getting back to "cozy" temperature range won't save you.
Also i am wearing armor, having my torch light up ate something to reduce cold and i'm still dying from hypothermia
If it appears ure done for, unless u get in safe zone and warm up. Not sure if camp will clear it up also.
Btw just started the game and discovered that yellow/purple armor doeant have any effect on ur freeze res.
It matters which skin you are using crafting it.
Ay beginning Mountain Cow Hide seems good- 15 freeze res+ load out capacity. Its leg skin which drop rate is 1/20 by my estimation.
Also get Polar Expedition- u can make a stone to put in ur pocket which helps u out also.
But I think the affects are too harsh also.
Ive been running around in RL with cloth soaked with frozen water for 5km. And in the end I didnt even feel like I was cold, just usual feeling, its more cold to sit with sweater in 15C room actually.
As far as stimach is full and u move around it isnt so bad.
It could ramp up later on with anomaloud -80c temps buy I think starting area is too harsh.
Also Lunacy kicks in too quickly imo, it could develop exponentionally, first 1h 20% hp lost, then 40% etc.
Latet areas of should have more harsh "anomalous" conditions.
But in the end, had some blueprints and resources carried along from Eternaland, so I could choose " hard" mode when choosing server.
Is there a way to see which server conditions I have, or which are on Hard mode turned ON?
