Solar powered generator

Can someone tell me how to get the generator? It's locked. Even when I have enough ciphers, I can't unlock it. Do I need a specialization to unlock it?

You need ciphers and energy link to unlock the vast majority of the memetics trees.

I know. But when I have enough, I can't get it. It's locked.

I have the water filters, vending machine, intermediate stove and securement expansion 1 but the solar powered generator is locked.

Doesn't unlock till second phase I think.

Make sure you are reading everything. It should tell you why it's locked.

Have you unlocked everything before it?

No requirement. Just says i need 5 ciphers and 700 energy link. There is nothing before it. Unless you mean everything from tier 2.

What do you mean "locked"? Does it have a lock icon? Then you need to wait until next phase.

The first solar generator. It has a lock on it.

it come with the last patch look to your territory Device it have a new Entry when you reach a certain point in the main Quest you need to make a cleananse with your Territory Device after you unlock your Solarpower and if you go forward in the story more things you will unlock

I think I did that and got my device to level 2.

To anyone that will say i need ciphers and energy link. Don't waste your time. I know i need that but the first generator has a lock on it. I need to unlock it. I think it might be a game issue.

I play on Way of Winter and it can unlock without any difficulty. But in Manibus, IIRC, you need to be in Phase 2 to unlock them, since it is on Ascendance tier. Although I didn't play Manibus for so long I might misremember them.

I unlocked technologies to phsse 3.

Complete the story quests up to and including beating the second monolith. Once you've defeated the second monolith/boss as part of the story, solar power is unlocked (and it even gives you a free solar generator to place)
