Solar powered generator

Can someone tell me how to get the generator? It's locked. Even when I have enough ciphers, I can't unlock it. Do I need a specialization to unlock it?

Well, you provide too little information to provide an accurate answer. But since I didn't play Manibus for so long. It might really locked behind Quest. However, the first time I played Manibus. I don't need to do any quest to unlock them. The patch note said something about "streamlining the tutorial" might have something to do with it. Since I'm in Way of Winter now, I cannot check if something has changed in Manibus.

Kill the level 20 Monolith Beast.

Take the Deviant you find after you kill the Monolith Beast back to your base.

You will then get the plans unlocked AND a free placement of one Solar Generator.

This was changed in the last patch.

In this game, there are 2 PvE scenarios, Manibus and Way of Winter. If you join a Novice server, it'll always be Manibus and unlike Way of Winter, will have a Tutorial. Both of them will also have different Memetics Tree. For example, Way of Winter will have Temperature control that is used to prevent the Low/High temperature of the environment, Manibus don't need them.

But you might try to beat the second Monolith just like Venny suggests. If you cannot do it alone, you can try to get help from other players. Manibus should have more players than Way of Winter.

Literally just got it now, I needed to place defeat the first two bosses from the story mode in manubus then defend my territory 2 times with the stardust filter, after that go to your territory terminal and it'll unlock the solar generator specifically for you

I already got the generator like a week ago. I didn't have to do the stardust filter. Probably because I'm on the manibus PVE server.

It depends on your phase. If you actually check the locked memetic, it will actually tell you what is required to unlock it.

Am I playing a different kind of Once Human? As I mentioned already last week I took an old character, started new in Way of Winter and was able after some hours to build a solar generator. On Monday the season for my main char was over so I started new in Manibus and again I was able to build a solar generator after some hours without doing a terroty cleaning nor with going into the first monolith.

A question to all guys having problems: did you play with this character before or is it the first time you are playing? Maybe its caused because I did the monolith in a previous season and thats why I can unlock it in the very beginning.

I had the same problem but after going to myers market and talking to the two people there the quest completed and the solar power unlocked
