Soooooo... Can we admit already that the event goals were too exaggerated? The game does not have the player base to fill that event. Many people have left the game after your recent stunts. If we have 7000 active players I would be surprised. Can you update already the event goals to a lower number? Or can you inflate the numbers there? Just make it so the bar fills with 20% per day and we will pretend we do not notice. Do we have a deal?

Ok so you are also bad at math...

50000/2000000*100

= (50000*100)/2000000

= 5000000/2000000 = 2.5

Now we have: 50000 is what percent of 2000000 = 2.5

Question: 50000 is what percent of 2000000?

Percentage solution with steps:

Step 1: We make the assumption that 2000000 is 100 % since it is our output value.

Step 2: We next represent the value we seek with x.

Step 3: From step 1, it follows that 100 % = 2000000.

Step 4: In the same vein, x % = 50000 .

Step 5: This gives us a pair of simple equations:

100 % = 2000000(1).

x % = 50000(2).

Step 6: By simply dividing equation 1 by equation 2 and taking note of the fact that both the LHS
(left hand side) of both equations have the same unit (%); we have

100 % / x % = 2000000/50000

Alas, Do not get me wrong I like the game a lot that is why I am playing. The whole point of the post was to say that I do not consider we can reach the 4 mil points mark and will miss on rewards unless they do something to give incentive's to donate more points the balance of goal and rewards was not thought properly. That's that.
I am at SEA server with already 1,2M points. If you are at 900K that server still gaining points healthily. The event still going until 12 Jan, still plenty of time. How come you SO SURE it will stop at 900k anyway.

Also at least 20k players daily is still doing great for F2P game. I have playing so many gacha games with much more less daily players and they still actively exist up till this point.
One example, just look at LifeAfter. Same developer, same gameplay concept. Yet it still exists.
Again this has nothing to do with the popularity of the game. Its simple math. we have a 20000 k average players spread on over 100 servers each player doing the average of lets be generous and make it 300 points. Each server needing 4 million points. That translates to needing an average of 400000000 points. Now lets say that the average players would be again lets be generous and make that 50000 saying they are different players each day and not everyone logs in every day. And lets say they all do their part equally (not! but let's pretend they do) is 400000000/50000= 8000 points each. As our friend above presented he did 300 points over the course of a week. Do you seriously believe that if these generous numbers would be met everyone will do 8000 points? Do you believe that some players will compensate 100000 points to cover for the ones who did just the minimal 200 needed for rewards? Please stop being delusional and think before you comment stupid ♥♥♥♥♥. Spend less time in gaming and pick up a book from time to time and learn something.

Forget the peak and lets say that the game has 200000 active users that is still 2000 points per player if the player does not stop at 200 points. Tell me how many of these 200000 players will do more that 300 not 500 not 1000 not 2000 just 300 points. Be real!!
Also you should realize by now a pattern. Everyone here claimed so far their server is at around 1000000 points. Coincidence? Explain to me how my server 254 that ends in less than 24 hours still has enough active players to be at the same level like each of the other mentioned servers so far? I went in my chat and asked in the past 3 hours if anyone is still around guess how many replies? Not even the classical Russian taking something I will never understand :))) They are already making up the numbers and your progress does not matter :))) this chat helped me realize that what I came here to ask was already happening. If your server ends in less than 24 hrs, people already out. Might as well forget about it and move on. Its not end of the world if you missing out 1k of strachrom anyway. I'm not sure if the progress carry over to your next season or not, haven't experience it myself.

Currently sitting on personal 1,6k points, and we're still at day 4 of event. By the time I hitting 8k (if I'm in the mood), probably my server already past 4m points.

yup, you got me bro. Palworld managed to retain a WHOLE 2.5% of it's original playerbase. Wow, that sure prove your point that Once Human having only 25,315/231,668*100 = 10.9272% of it's peak playerbase mean this game game is doing worst than.

Palworld lost 97.5% during huge content update = completely alive
Once human lost 89% during content drought = "cricket and tumble weed"

Since you are so good at math, can you tell me which one is worst? Losing 97.5% of players or 89% of players.

Second scenario, goals overoptimistic. Game is far from dead and its a good game.

talk about hyperbole argument. You don't need 4 accounts to have 4 alts on the server. The game already allows you up to 9 alts under the same account playing the same server.

And if for some reason there are people who desperately need 36 alts worth of resource for some reason? Assuming it takes roughly 30 minutes every day to log in into an alts to collect and move resource, and log out, 36 alts would take up to 18 hours a day, that's more hours than a full work day. Considering how easy this game is, I don't believe the time and effort spent leveling up all 36 alts warrant enough reward that everybody in this game would need 4 concurrent steam accounts.

You might run into a few dozen guys who would do such a thing for a challenge. But it's very unlikely that such people who would employ such a strategy makes enough money to convince devs to keep selling lootboxes and microtransactions, much less impact the player count.
