I have no overlays whatsoever, but game won't run more'n 5-10 minutes, tops, then crashes to desktop (regardless of video settings; tinkered for hours). The last 'update' (months ago) was hot garbage & broke the game. This 'update' doubled down & sealed the deal. Dev editor-in-chief fired last year, then dev team walked out, so 2nd stringers try the impossible: to de-bug others' code. After initially showing much promise, now it's stick a fork in it, this game is done....:steamsad:....

I've disabled everything and it still crashes after 5 to 10 minutes

I kept tinkering. It didn't resolve the issue, but I do get a lil' moar' playtime now. Do NOT use FXAA setting in Nvidia. It aggravates whatever the issue is. Hope Steam/Valve/Vulkan/Proton can work well enough with Netease to resolve this ongoing "shoken brit" situation. Native version still works fine it's said (if true, confirm p & ty). Game worked fine (on all Windows & most Linux distros) up until the 'update' at summer's end. For many (on Steam), it's still not working months later & is getting worse; who dropped the ball & who's gonna' recover this fumble & work these things out, hmmm?

I had it crash 3 times when I got stuck in the car and couldn't get out, but otherwise it never crashed Intel processor nvidia video card.:steammocking:

I began crashing 2 days ago during the server loading phase. If your issue is same/similar, this workaround may address it: Close the game (if open). Go to the installation folder ...\Once Human\Documents. Delete the following folders: baking_ppk, db_py3, and patch_ppk. Settings will be reset (doh!), but shaders and other files will be regenerated. After this, you should be able to get back on the server again....Good Luck!....
I was really excited to play this game but i cant even get pass the character creation! This is super annoying bc i waited days to download this

Well that is good to hear. As for the crashing you are getting. Well there are any number of things that can cause this and it will be hard to help in finding a fix since we have no idea what your system specs are and cannot read your mind, lol.

Can please give us a a bit more to going on so we can help you.

I had a similar issue as well. Turns out Once Human uses quite large memory, which it will instead uses Virtual Memory if you don't have large enough RAM. Make sure you have enough disk space (default in C) for the Virtual memory to allocate. In my case (PC with 16 GB RAM), it uses addition 5GB of virtual memory in C.
TLDR: Make sure you have enough disk space in C (at least ~5GB of free space)

You really should consider upgrading your PC to more RAM since many games today are requiring a lot more RAM to run them. My PC has 32 GB RAM at the fastest my motherboard can handle.

Also, having a lot of RAM in your PC is always better because it helps to extend the life of your other components as well increase performance. Because RAM is cheap and more is always better.
