Lunar sanity was already annoying after the first minute. During a blood moon, you cannot go outside without 50 mobs spawning on top of you, all with the ability to kill you in 1 hit. Additionally, after you die, it takes longer than usually to recover sanity.
I'm only here because my Hive moved here after WoW. The devs have the ability to make Hard mode servers separate from the easy servers right? Why not just make a Hard mode for Lunacy?
The better drops aren't worth it. I've tried to collect ore or salt water during Lunacy, and even if you can survive long enough to do it, the increase is minimal. But again, too many mobs spawn at once all able to kill you in 1 hit. You are unable to take advantage of this.
We're only in phase 1, so who knows. Things may get better or they may get worse.
Later its not that difficuld stay hidden if you dont want that mode only this constant near Death noise is annoying like hell
As everyone else is suggesting.... look for coneflowers to make tea, or make alcohol. Sick of you people constantly complaining about how "hard" this game is when it's EASY AF and every time we get something a little bit challenging coming our way, someone has to come in and complain.
I drank tea,and the insanity just grew back to max in 2 seconds.
Otherwise there are ways to prevent gaining sanity, ways to gain shields and damage reduction with low hp or during lunacy, theres an entire set of gear specifically for this scenario, and so on. Its not really problematic if you kill things before they notice you, or you use a silent weapon, like crossbows, or if you use your surroundings correctly to funnel enemies.
Plus you can also just place a bunch of turrets at your base, gather resources around your base to spawn enemies, and let the turrets kill enemies for you to get the event currency. Then all you got to do is drive to chests, kill the enemy nearby, and open them.
Something tells me you haven't played this scenario yet.
They notice you before you notice them. There's literally a mechanic that spawns them on top of you and they attack you instantly from this moment. There is no "notice/detection" system in place here. They are scripted to spawn and attack you at once. They are not the same as normal enemies, which by the way, are leveled based on the area. The Lunacy mobs will be scaled to your level.
In Manibus the beers keep you sane for 30 minutes at a time and then you just drink another if you need to?
