Massive GB "updates"?
I downloaded the already massive 74gb game weeks back and decided to play a few days ago, now it wants me to download another 80gb. What's up with this? Is this game even fun enough to constantly go through all these massive downloads? I'm tired of having to play games like this tbh.

How does this not have any comments?
Is there really no one else who is annoyed with the download/"patch" sizes? In most discussion threads, I just see complaints about this game. Must not be worth it, though at first glance the game looked alright in videos.
agree, also wondering why we are basically having to redownload the whole darn game.

Textures are usually big files. They have been changing the map layouts abit, so that explains some of the file size. There is a good argument that patching a game then uploading it is more stable than sending small patches to a game file that then updates locally, which can become more fragmented and unstable over time. Which is likely their intention to basically reduce bugs. It isn't working tho as we're seeing more bugs.

You probably missed out on some incremental patches and therefore had to download the whole game again, I've not had a single update that was that big since launch. There are TONS of hotfixes (which go unannounced) between content updates, like almost daily. That's what the game checks for every time you start it up.

No, it's not "normal". Games should have never gotten to this point. This is the result of cutting costs and being lazy, hiring sloppy developers who don't clean up coding and other such things. It's a fact that it's because of incompetent devs.

No, I'll find that it is a common thing these days. That does not make it normal. You should learn to differentiate the two and stop being so accepting of low quality products. Free or paid products must have quality.
You should go take your extensive game development experience to the devs and show them how it's done.

Level 0 private Steam profile. Yeah, it fits the bill for the discussion.

You definitely don't understand a thing about video game development and deployment of updates from game to game. The game is fun, but I guess you're just too impatient to wait for updates to finish. If you can't handle the update cycle, move on.

Not like it made a difference, game has an extremely small playerbase, cuz its garbage, It feels like a mobile to pc port, I wouldn't be surprised if it is. Mods had deleted my comments to protect your fragile feelings. You would have been on watch if you read what I said. Walk carefully around real men, lil boy.
