Regular Weapon Skins

I think having an upgrade path is cool - but I would like just matte black weapon skins. Or at least an option to remove the default patterns. I do not like the Fortnite/CoD $49.99 weapon skins when you make a Legendary MP5. Can we please have an override option to at least make the weapon look stock for free on all weapon types? The Glock for instance is great, but man... Furthermore, the weapon attachment skins do not match the weapon because I've got a cottoncandy pink and blue MP5 but I can get black multicam optic sights. That is so dissonant. Thanks.

The basic green versions of the guns look the best. I hate the stupid gun-skinning trend in games.

I have been using the weapon decals to skin my weapons. I just place them in a spot and resize them as a wrap.

This is Borderlands style, with the Borderlands gun special effect. I don't mind a transmog function though, the Paid skins are different from the basic skins so it won't hurt their sales.

Gun metal black is default. The game then loads whatever crayon texture they used for that "variant". It is the same for the Hoodie too. I haven't tried glitching out anything else or loading up the game files.

To add to it: I know some people enjoy that multi-color neon purple and pink thing, that's totally cool. I'm not suggesting people not get those things or want those things. For me, it just sucks me out the world, here.

I'd also like some transmog weapon/armor (or at least some of the armors) system just to make simple. Black weapons - Ranger Green armor/Brown. I don't need Arma 3, just simple, you know?

Yeah. I'd like a "Would you like to just keep this black?" option for variants, you know. I know some people like the neon colors and stuff, no problem. I'd just like something simple. :)
