Link to the most likely patent. [patents.justia.com]
You clearly have no idea how the world works buddy, it's called research.
This! For a start, it's on PC. Yeah, I still dream of being able to play Legend of Zelda on here...
No you don't. LMAO, did you even read? They are announcing they are suing on some undisclosed (for now) patents. And you are an idiot for linking a patent registered in the US when, guess what, they are suing in Tokyo District Court. Again, all you are doing right now is making GUESSES. They haven't announced on basis what they are suing on.
Not even Palsworld knows the specific of patents they are being sued on.
"Pocketpair responded by saying it is “unaware of the specific patents we are accused of infringing” and will investigate the infringement claims."
Did you even read?
Yes, I'm sorry if you were confused about that this entire time. I apologize for desecrating the journalistic integrity of the steam forums, our only trusted holy media. I should have disclosed that that was conjecture, I didn't mean to make to so angry, hope what ever is wrong with you gets better c:
PLUS, in this we do not throw a round object at the thing we want to capture lol
I love how you link to an article which clearly said nobody knows which patents being involved (and Nintendo has a bazillion of them) to prove your point. It's so ironic.
Once Human doesnt use trinkets for that, instead they contain their energy in the cradle or in a showcase containment.
I dont think it will get affected since the designs are crearly different and unique, which palworld didnt even cared much on this aspect and just shoved similar monsters that can CLEARLY reference the original idea, thats why it triggered Nintendo
Example: Temtem is just pokemon with cute graphics, its a paid game and Nintendo is chilling about it, every aspect of the game is inspired by the pokemon game, but they made their own designs and stuff (such as the capturing device, lore, and such)
Correction, this is the first time they sued Palworld. All this patent about throwing a ball to capture monster comes from some speculative tweet on X. At this stage the specific patents (note plural) they are suing on are not known to public. Palworld may have an idea now on the specifics, or they may not even know yet. Last communication is they don't.
Most industry experts say Nintendo doesn't ♥♥♥♥ around unless they know they win. And the reaction in Japan is completely different to Steam, with majority gamers agree with Nintendo.
I think i got caught by the popular gossip lmao
The lawsuit isn't about what the creatures look like.
