No Resolution for AUS Players since update???
Since the update myself and every AUS player I have spoken to has been on 230+ ping on SEA servers, which the game claimed was the best server connection wise. Before the update I would be on average 120, while not great was playable. I have tried to contact support but that seems impossible. Have they not spoken about this or plans to address whatever change they made? I have already put a tone of hours into this game and has spent $$$, I'd like to keep playing and supporting it but this lag I cant keep playing when other games dont have this issue, like when, Im driving down the road then suddenly back at the teleporter with my car only spawning in.

I'm on SEA servers. Used to get 100 ping.
Since the reset I'm around 250 ping and lag spikes.

Thank you for your donation, your opinion doesn't matter to them.

In Australia - was getting low 30's for ping prior to update - now 140-150.
On the server splash screen it shows all green bars - once in game 3 yellow bars.
So something has changed - and it makes the lag/rubberbanding terrible

I was but another player suggested I use a VPN & as soon as I did went back to 100 ping. Not sure how it all works but it solved the lag issue for me

Simple, routing issues. Usually if you see an improvement when using VPN then it means your ISP routing is bad. VPN doesn't magically work, it just cuts the many hops in the middle so your data package doesn't go around half the world and back to the location.

If server is the problem you wouldn't see any improvement with VPN.

I'm also Aussie Broadband and SEA server X-0008. ABB typically has best routing for online games and I never have to use VPN (My ASUS Router has free WTFast VPN connection).

Where are you bouncing your VPN through?

What you say would make sense except the fact that it only started occurring after a once human update and to multiple people with different ISP. I have no lag issues from any other game, I was running at 90 ping at the start of the game but after the update in Aug/Sept I went up to 230+
I ran a VPN and set it to singapore and it went back down to 90 but even then there was still delays in combat. If I was focused just on story and crafting I could manage but doing combat is near impossible.
I did see one person suggested its an OCE Steam-Once Human thing and playing it through windows (downloaded off the website) is a fix however I dont have the energy to test the theory.
